Please verify you have setup SMTP on your site. Refer to this article – https://optinmonster.com/how-to-set-up-smtp-in-wordpress/
I would like you to know that, while the form is coming from Spectra, in order to make the form work as expected, i.e. sending the submitted form, it relies on the hosting. This is not only happening with Spectra’s form but is also happening with other forms that are created using a third-party plugin.

Thanks for writing to us and I am so sorry with the inconvenience caused with the reset.
When updating one should not reset the theme as this will take up the new default settings.
When releasing an update we take into account old users existing settings so that they don’t override the settings that are in place.
I therefore agree that users should not reset existing settings.
Also you can always ensure you take regular backups of your site so that in case you reset mistakenly you can restore back.
