In reply to: Exporting Blog to Word / PDFUpdate: Tried reinstalling WP2PDF twice more with no result 🙁 Anybody have suggestions or have had successful experiences in the past with these plugins and can help?
My server, for reference, is a UNIX server on GoDaddy.

In reply to: Exporting Blog to Word / PDFIn addition, there appear to have been, by searching the forums, several successful PDF conversions in the past.
I have attempted to use ConnuttoPDF but unfortunately I cannot due to having PHP4 instead of PHP5 on my server. Last night, I tried WP2PDF but it is producing a PHP error that I cannot resolve on my own. 🙁

In reply to: Exporting Blog to Word / PDFBy doing that, however, my images and themes are lost from my posts – additionally, the number of my posts are 100+ so print screening each one would not be convenient either.

In reply to: Exporting Blog to Word / PDFI have upgraded WordPress to version 2.3 and downloaded an XML file. How now can I make it into a PDF or .doc format with all my posts in one location that I can print out?
Thanks!

In reply to: Exporting Blog to Word / PDFDoes that mean, moshu, that if I upgrade my WordPress to the latest version 2.3, I should be able to export even though it’s not hosted on the wordpress.com servers? 🙂

In reply to: Exporting Blog to Word / PDFHey there,
I can’t use Manage -> Export because it’s hosted on an external server as opposed to on wordpress.com – I have about 150 posts so I’d rather not print screen every page. 🙁

In reply to: Permalinks on a Linux GoDaddy account – problem and solutionP.S. I never had to create a .htaccess file, I simply changed the structure and waited! (GoDaddy Linux server)

In reply to: Permalinks on a Linux GoDaddy account – problem and solutionjaxsedrin, many thanks – I didn’t have the patience to wait before and just assumed they didn’t work. Now, my website has its permalink structure changed as well! Thank you very much.

In reply to: Editing Permalink StructureThank you HandySolo – once again, my failure to search for the correct terms means the answer eluded me. Your link was spot on and it turns out I simply had to wait a little for the permalinks to start working – fabulous! 🙂

In reply to: Editing Permalink StructureThanks for the tip – I will reply to this thread AFTER New Year’s celebrations have taken place 😉 but just to let you know, I know for certain I’m on a Linux server with GoDaddy, and just switching the Permalink Structure to non-default screws up all existing links. 🙁
Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Editing Permalink StructureIndeed I have – it screws up all the current links on the website which is why I haven’t done it. Archives, individual post links, etc. no longer work if I just switch using Options > Permalinks.
I also read Using Permalinks before posting my original topoic, but unfortunately it deals more with the different types of permalinks rather than switching from one to another after a WP blog has accumulated posts. I’m not that technically competent 🙁

In reply to: Top/Bottom and Left/Right BordersI have absolutely NO CLUE what I was doing wrong before because I swear I’ve tried it but obviously something went wrong because when I gave it the benefit of the doubt and tried border-top/bottom/left/right again it worked 🙂 Although I had to stick border-left/right in three places (header body footer) it looks fine 🙂 Cheers
Will try the faux column thing tomorrow, looks interesting! 🙂 No way to do it in straight CSS though?
