In reply to: [BackUpWordPress] Not backing up database and filesAs a follow-up to my earlier email, I was in communication with a representative from the plug-in designers, who thought the problem was linked to the size of my site (1 GB). After a few unsuccessful attempts to work around the problem, I decided to perform manual backups for my site (see: http://wiki.dreamhost.com/Backup_Website_Manually). It’s a time-consuming process, but it works.

In reply to: Mac OSX zip woes: Error 2 messageHi again,
Thanks for this suggestion. I downloaded Stuffit, but my machine won’t let me open it. This is the first time this has happened since I enabled any file to be downloaded. I am probably missing the obvious. I will try to track down someone from work who could also help. Thanks very much anyways. Regards, JL.

In reply to: Mac OSX zip woes: Error 2 messageHi WPyogi,
Thanks for the quick reply. I downloaded and tried Zipeg but was unsuccessful opening the file. I also tried to open it with the Terminal application on my MAC (no luck again).
Sorry, I did not realize this was not a wp problem. I will look for a solution elsewhere.
Cheers.

In reply to: [WordPress.com Stats] [ Plugin: WordPress.com Stats]mysterious happy faceHi James,
Thanks for your quick reply. As you may have guessed, I’m a bit of a newbie to WordPress. I understood 99% of your answer, but not sure where exactly to put the code in the Stylesheet (style.css). I’ve tried inserting it in a few places with no luck. Any more info would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers.
John
