    Ok @fjarrett, it’s a good reasoning.

Because in WordPress people can change theme when they want and precisely with the plugins allow that visualization does not disappear.

In that case, I have seen highly recommended (plugins):
1 – Responsive Lightbox by dFactory
2 – Responsive Lightbox by subhansanjaya

Of the second I did analysis (+ video) last year and although it goes very well, ended up removing from the free version the automatic links to videos (YouTube, Vimeo) and others.

Thanks for your explanation Frankie Jarrett.

    Greetings!
Pd.: It would be interesting to see, in WordPress Repository, the child theme: Ascension. I just see that it remains to improve presentation hamburger menu on all mobile devices and tablets. Currently only ‘Primer’ meets this requirement (except for Ipad Air: 1024×768). There is an online tool that helps to see this: https://sizzy.co/

    Hi Vinod!

I have no problem evaluating your plugin, when it solved the other problem I opened in another post: Inappropriate behavior when scroll down in fixed menu

Although, I think a great work this plugin that you did. It’s nice, adapted to the theme’s custom CSS, it’s automatically translated into my language (Spanish). And above all this, UX improves (website usability for the new visitor). But it only remains to polish that detail that comments in previous post.

When that is solved, of course I will give value, because the scroll menu and your search lens, I think a great step to better UX of a website for both desktop and other devices (tablet, smartphone) and I am with pre-designed theme, Primer (GoDaddy) which fits very well to all these devices. All this I check with this tool online: http://sizzy.co/ (if you do not know, can come very well).

I’m even likely to do an article referring to your plugin, as I’ve done with other plugins from other authors in my blog.

And I’ll also talk about your plugin (and others), in a course that I have to update at Udemy (international online video academy). If you look for me with this name (Joan Morci), you will find me there. The course is called: ‘Basic guide to layout your website in WordPress’ (only in Spanish, but has 460 students from 55 countries) but it will take a couple of months to arrive (I hope before), coinciding with the launch of my new website.

I consider that the programmers of plugins in WordPress, you do a great job and it is not sufficiently well paid, nor valued. In other circumstances, I would have already evaluated, but I want to improve the UX of the web, and there is only that detail to be polished in scrolling menu.

Greetings and I hope you understand why I do not evaluate yet.

    Hi Vinod!

    Thanks for informing.

I will remain waiting for the solution in the next version.

    Thank you so much Vinod!

A little awkward of me. I would be tired this day not to notice the code. Because I look at the ‘item inspector’ of browsers and I was focused on svg only.

I have also seen that the ‘hover’ effect can be applied easily.

I apply everything from the new WordPress tool: Additional CSS. From January 2017, can be found in: Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS (CSS adicional, in Spain).

    Greetings! 🙂

    Thanks for reporting @nikschavan!

The truth is I’m amazed at how many people in India know so much about programming. You are highlighting a lot in the WordPress landscape.

I entered Github again today, to ask how to set (fixed) a menu (so that it scrolls down) in a theme child of Primer. Curiously in Primer works well, but not in child theme: Ascension.

Will your plugin also work with Primer’s childs?

One of the most interesting things about your plugin is the header menu. Because many people in the marketing world, recommends that the menu be set (fixed) to desktop version (in mobile version I have no info). They say it’s better for UX. Even some put a search option… although I recommend this only for section Blog.

Greetings and thanks for your effort! 🙂

    Hi!

I try everything you told me but it did not work for me. When I have some more time, I will record video with the steps that you indicate and correct me if something is not right.

    Sorry for not answering before.

    Hi Alex!

That solution worked perfect for me. It works!

    Thanks for your time.

    Hi Alex!

When I´m in SiteOrigin Editor, from the Visual or HTML view, it writes well, even the preview from your layout shows it, but once saved and published/updated, it doesn´t show.

I can´t pass you a link, because I’m working locally and I have a lot left to get out of there, because until I have all the elements well placed I will not go online testing site.

The only thing that occurs to me is that you download the theme Primer (GoDaddy) and check for yourself, it is probably something of the theme. Because with the theme Oxygen (AlienWP), from my current website, it does work well.

    Hi!

I change to another contact plugin, as I told you. I even like this new one because I can put direct link to the anchor related to cookies.

If I can this week I test with ‘EU Cookie Law’ where it gave me error too (localhost).

I think you have a great plugin although things are going to get more difficult in Spain for your subscription forms. I will open another post, alerting you to a new rule that will force a checkbox and link to data protection (users who register). This will not happen until 2018.

    Greetings from Spain & thanks!

I’ve done several tests. With both the cookie plugin that gave error, and with a new one that I put (Cookie Consent), which did not interfere when we created the newsletter, the result was the same.

But when changing cookie plugin… notice another problem, which seems silly but it may be something important.

In fact, it is another plugin called ‘Social Share’ (your), which seems to throw an error for 1sg, in the same area where the newsletter is prepared.

I have activated these buttons, Social Share, in popup format in the left side of the web (only in the blog and articles). Attached small video demo.
This same error comes out with the plugin disabled.

Testing on different web hosting servers

    CDmon (test platform)

I do not have your Social Share plugin installed here. Here I only allow submissions for ‘WordPress PHP Mail’ and the result is good.

    – WordPress PHP Mail.
It comes perfect to Hotmail inbox, and Tray promotions in Gmail.

STRATO (my hosting server + web domain)

These are the results with your ‘Social Share’ plugin activated.

    – WordPress PHP Mail
Arrives at Hotmail Unwanted Mail Tray, and Tray Promotions in Gmail.

    – Sendmail
Arrives in Hotmail Unwanted Mail Tray and Gmail main tray (no promotions).

    – SMTP
Arrives in Hotmail Unwanted Mail Tray and Gmail main tray (no promotions).

I think that with this information you already have a better base to work on, and the variant for an email to reach Hotmail or Gmail.

You can see that now they all get to Gmail. Language was an important point (no shared hosting server). Thanks for fixing that problem (version plugin 1.1.5)

But Hotmail goes to unwanted mail, maybe your popup plugin, Social Share, is giving that poor delivery, judging by the results that I communicate on different web platforms.

    That’s all for now.

Thank you for taking the Spanish language seriously (we are not few, English is universal language, but Spanish community is very large).

    Greetings from Spain!

    Hi!

‘EU Cookie Law’, is curious because I check in 3 different sites, and in 2 the error is reproduced and in 1 of them, no. With the same plugins and confifguration.

    I’ll explain.

Yes it gives error, in localhost (MAMP Mac) and my web server Strato.
No error in CDmon test platform (free).

Both localhost and test platform, allow only test email.

Regarding ‘Jetpack’, I can´t check again because I already delete it.
The error was that there was no widget, Suscribe form, in Page Builder ‘SiteOrigin’, when Jetpack was active. However, when deactivating Jetpack, the widget itself was displayed inside Page Builder SiteOrigin.

This may be some conflict. It would not be the first time on the part of SiteOrigin or Jetpack. In fact, I talked to them in the past, because in SiteOrigin you didn´t see the contact form widget provided by Jetpack (activated in one of its modules).

The author of SiteOrigin, told me that it was not compatible. Later he recommended his other plugin, SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle, which already contained contact form (and rather better than the Jetpack).

Spanish language, I hope it is a fact for those who don´t want complications to send a newsletter, from WordPress.

I have computed that the ‘Sendmail’ mode when choosing it already throws a Path that although doesn´t correspond to the one offered in my web server, Strato (which is the same as the one offered by GoDaddy), in any case does its function well and emails arrive from the same way as if we configured the SMTP.

    Greetings!

    Hi!

My website is in Spanish. Look here: http://joanmorci.com/
That is why the first option ‘WordPress PHP Mail’ respects my language (Spanish).

In fact, when I send other email from yours form in the section of the plugin: Overview, the copy sent to my email also revealed problems with ‘ñ’ and accents. As you can see in this image capture.

That is, you have a problem with the Spanish language when the submissions are via Sendmail or SMTP.

On the other hand, I sent from Mailrelay and everything arrived perfect, respecting my Spanish language.

I hope a quick solution, especially to my language (spanish) and to recommend your plugin to people using VPS or dedicated server, is where I think your plugin works best, right? In shared server, you have to limit to 80 shipments per hour.

    Greetings!

    Hi,

I know Harry, I didn´t say by you. I quoted because it was an option for at least the rest to see that was a possibility of verification. At least until the authors of the plugin, do update or official verification.

    Greetings!
