In reply to: [Page Builder by SiteOrigin] ‘Export Layout’ doesn´t work correctlyHello alexgso!
Great contribution! I should have come earlier to ask, instead of believing it was a SiteOrigin bug. I had been dragging this problem for a long time and giving me bad advice, but since I’ve been at Udemy I have taken my job and that of WordPress programmers more seriously.
As soon as I can update that class, I hope before ‘Black Friday’, we all play a lot.
Greetings and thank you very much, I thought that I would not be able to do it but it is easy when you are a good teacher too 🙂

In reply to: [Page Builder by SiteOrigin] There is no transparent background in WidgetsHi alexgso!
I have not needed to apply the CSS code although I will keep it. Only the first option (Untick Add Widget Class and save) that details me and everything is Ok.
Thank you very much! 😀

In reply to: [Page Builder by SiteOrigin] Parallax image error (option: Fixed)Hi alexgso!
Oh, then there is no solution anymore. It’s a shame because I made the demo before summer with it running on tablets and smartphones, and it looked fabulous.
But if it does not exist any longer … then I will have to leave it and follow normal behavior.
I can´t put the two rows in one, because the effect of my image (left) + the text (right) is not equal to the collapsing screen. On the right side of the image is cut text. That is why I had to put two columns in a different row, so that when collapsed, the text will be placed below the image.
Well… now that I knew how to download the JSONs and I had uploaded it but I see that it is not necessary to link with this explanation. Well I have learned a couple of other things today.
Greetings and although it is not the solution I expected, thank you for clearing doubts.

In reply to: [Page Builder by SiteOrigin] ‘Export Layout’ doesn´t work correctlyHi alexgso!
I checked all the plugins and the one that gives problems is ‘Wordfence Security‘. In fact, when I deactivated it, I was able to download numerous rows of my Home in localhost. No problem to download Layout.
This plugin is the one I like most at the security level (and I have recommended Udemy’s students), but I don´t know which option I have activated that prevents downloading Layout. Could you investigate what option is causing that problem?
I would like to continue with ‘Wordfence Security’ because it does a great job keeping me informed of many alerts and updates plugins, theme and WP system. Besides that it can be updated automatically.
Greetings and thanks for the suggestions!
Pd: When I know which ‘Wordfence Security’ option is causing that problem, I will update course class in Udemy.Forum: Plugins

In reply to: [Page Builder by SiteOrigin] Parallax image error (option: Fixed)Hi Andrew!
I know that option (JSON), because I´m teaching a course for Udemy: ‘How to design a website wisely’. And I’m using your official page builder (+ SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle), and unofficial add-ons + compatible plugin recommended by Greg on the blog.
But already in a class (course) talk about this option and I had to say that it worked badly. I will open a new post about this incident and another, so that you can review it… and I can inform my Udemy students of your new achievements.
For the problem of this post, I have decided to enable a test page within the theme (Primer) that I chose for the course in Udemy.
That is why I link you online to the page in question, so you can check what the problem may be.Grretings!
Pd.: Sorry for the following post but I have checked a series of problems and I think you can be useful.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Ivory Search - WordPress Search Plugin] Problem after update to 3.0 versionI can´t because I work at the moment locally, but soon I hope to upload it online and I will come back to indicate you better.
I can´t because I work at the moment locally, but soon I hope to upload it online and I will come back to indicate you better.
It is a box (in my case of dark blue color) that appears on the right side, which when clicking brings me to the compilation of all articles.

Is there no way to eliminate it? Or is that a function wanted by author plugin?
Greetings!

In reply to: [Ivory Search - WordPress Search Plugin] Problem after update to 3.0 versionThis code (Vinod) corrects the problem of seeing the magnifying glass but when you place mouse over, there is no longer the same hover effect as in the rest of the main menu. This is something that worked well in version 2.0
Is it not possible to fix it or is it necessary to put another CSS code for hover effect?
Greetings!
In this case I have to thank to @lipstickalchemist, for asking about the ‘hover’ option. Surely I would have ended up asking about it.
Sometimes we think that some programmers are gods, and they are not going to answer poor mortals who do not know about programming, and we prefer to break head, instead of asking a simple question.
Grateful to take time, @vinod-dalvi, to answer and clarify.
Greetings! 🙂

Thank you very much Vinod!
I managed to reduce it so that it will remain at the same height as the size of the menu. It was by option ‘hover’ from the menu, depending on the current tab activates the background was left out of grid in another color. Now everything is perfect.
Thank you very much for taking your time. This makes your work more professional, you know.

Greetings! I’m going to dinner and when I finish I leave positive valuation! 😉
Vinod! Thank you very much!
I thought you had forgotten this. I already tried it on the Primer theme (GoDaddy) and it works great, scrolling down.

Now I’m going to speak to my Udemy students, more seriously than helping WordPress plugins authors whenever they have a problem with a plugin, and do not leave negative valuation before trying a solution with the plugin author.
I’m going to have dinner and I’ll leave you a review later 🙂

In reply to: [Newsletter by Supsystic] Horizontal subscription form? Is it possible?Sorry, I didn´t see that you had already answered (I wait an average of 2 days, hehe).
WOW. I have no words. Your work is incredible, it deserves an event of prizes to the best plugins and attention authors. I’ll give stars rating right now, even though I’m still working locally or online test server (and not public).
The fact is that I thought that with the existing boxes (sample model already built) could move them, and in fact can but not in the position I wanted. Then erase the example completely and build what I wanted.

The result is something that seems simple to do from the outside, but there is no free plugin that allows you to do something as simple as this, in the way that you got with your forms builder.
It took 1 year to break my head (with free forms plugins) and using ‘Magic Action Box’ but your plugin is the substitute of this one and much more complete and with possibility to edit fields in a simple way, send newsletter… Wow… How will be the Pro version, I hope not remove anything from the free.
Look really, just for the form builder and the ability to create lists of subscribers related to each separate form, your plugin is of note 10. But it also allows to send newsletter and also corrected Spanish language as I asked (accents and “Ñ”).
Increible your work, I hope that by the end of the year (depending on how I go to Udemy), I can pay you not only with advertising. You’ve done a great job so far.
Greetings!
