    Josh,

Just installed Meteor Slides on a known UNIX server, and all works as expected. The problem must be that I am on one of EarthLink’s Windows servers. Is there a work around for this?

    Josh,

Deactivated all the plugins, installed Meteor Slides and activated it . . . still the same problem. The admin page will not load.

If my site administration page on EarthLink offers the FrontPage extensions, does that mean it is likely a Windows server? I did turn on the jquerie libraries in Thesis, in case that was the problem.

I’m disappointed that i can’t seem to use your plugin. I seems to be just what I need.

I may try to install it on one of my other sites that i know is a Unix based site and see if that doesn’t take care of it.

I VERY much appreciate your prompt responses to my questions. I feel a contribution coming on. ;>)

    Josh,

I am using the Thesis theme. The site is hosted on EarthLink.

    Plugins are:

    akismet
    enable-media-replace
    horizontal-scrolling-announcement
    thesis-openhook
    tinymce-advanced
wp-cycle (which I hope to replace with Meteor Slides)

When I change the URL in my browser to just “http://www.barker-publicart.com/wordpress/wp-admin” I still cannot load the Admin pages of my WordPress installation. If I go to my File Manager program in cPanel and delete Meteor Slides, all returns to normal.

Just uploaded all the files from a fresh download of WordPress 2.9.2
The upload buttons still will not work on this blog.

    Any assistance will be appreciated

    Hello,

My eyes tricked me. I actually am running WordPress 2.9.2.

    Tradurex,

I think WordPress 2.9.3 is the latest version. Can run the update script on the latest version? Did you upgrade anything other than WordPress?

    Hi all again,

Well, I have done a couple of things to try to resolve this little glitch.

    1. I disable all the plugins on the blog not showing the bulk delete command. No difference. The delete option is still not displayed on the Bulk Actions popup for Inactive plugins.

    2. I compared the plugins.php documents of the two blogs in question with SmartSynchronize. They are identical.

    3. I compared the pages generated by the view source menu in FireFox. Except for different entries in the Inactive plugins area and different website titles, they appear to be the same EXCEPT, the one with the problem obviously doesn’t show the delete option in the popup menu. That suggests that something in the flow of the php/html code is not generating them as it does on the other blog. I just don’t know what else to compare, and my php skills and tools are not such that I can really trace the code as it executes

Any other suggestions for chasing this down would be appreciated. I’t no biggy; I can manually delete plugins in the plugins folder, but the bulk actions are such a great new feature, I sure would like to have them for all my blogs.
