Hi. Sorry. I’m not sure why it’s showing correctly now… could be because I deleted OPcache? Or maybe I didn’t deploy the change at the moment.

Anwyays, the following is shown below. The error is still there. If you install Query Monitor and press “Start Wizard” and do not see Database Error in their log, please let me know. Because I get that regardless of fresh install or not.

    Hi.

I am actually updated to 2.0.20… But for some reason, the diagnostic says otherwise.

I think I may have unintentionally came across another bug. Haha.

Yes, I have. This error has been there since as long as I’ve used Post SMTP, which is maybe 2 years now… It’s just it never affected anything so I didn’t care to report it.

But, I was on the forum and so took the time.

If you want to see it, try using the Query Monitor plugin. It will show when youg get on the wizard page.

As for the diagnostics, it is below. I removed some things.

Hi. The error is coming from Post SMTP’s Wizard Page.

You can find the line at:

    PostmanImportableConfiguration.php Line 366

The plugin you posted, I don’t use.

I figured it out. It does… you just have to figure out enabling various language scripts.

The problem is you’ll have to go through each and every script if you’re not familiar with them to ensure.

I haven’t even heard of half the list. I did not know Han Characters were in reference to Mandarin, for example.

    You’re awesome. Thanks!

Darn. Ok. Thank you for replying.

    Wow, a response!

Look at it from my perspective, chriscct7.

Even though the question was quite simple for a plugin developer, and doesn’t require outside information to answer.. (it being: *Can you collect data for Custom Dimensions:author by User name instead of Display name?* )…if it wasn’t so simple, does it need to take 7 months to respond (or continue not to respond more like..)?

*(I have 2 questions with 0 replies. One 7+ months old and one 3+ months old… and they are the same question).

I don’t believe it should take more than a week to take 2 minutes to respond and say, “Yes/No” or “We’ll consider it for future updates”. At least this way, even if you are rebuilding, as a user of your plugin, I would feel heard and engaged in the project you have put out into the world… that whatever you envision for your plugin that you have, I can see myself supporting it.

And I understand there are ‘tradeoffs’, but it’s weird seeing more complicated support questions getting not just replies but fixes and answers.

Anyway, thank you for reading my review. I do believe this is a solid plugin.

Though, I think there may be a security issue. I’ve found some problems that give me indications of this, but I figured I’d have to figure it out myself due to the lack of support.

That doesn’t resolve disabling specific endpoints. The issue is that I do not know how or if there is a function to specifically target a specific endpoint.

So far, all we can do is determine if REST API is currently on for all.

Same Problem. I’ve noticed it long ago.

Hi there. Thanks for getting to me. This option enables only those who have at least ‘author’ status, but I would like to enable it for ‘subscribers’ as well.

    Any idea how?

    An update.

So, I narrowed it down to get_query_var().

Apparently the function is unable to detect anything starting with ‘-‘.

So, https://example.com/-x/ will be collected as ‘x’ instead of ‘-x’.

This has shown to be a problem for users who have registered with login names starting with a hyphen or more than one hyphen.

Hi. Yes, Parent Page functionality is missing in WordPress 5.0. I wonder if this thread is dead though.
