In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] Fatal error after Total Cache updateHi Transversalys,
I have found the same problem – no ideal fix but I can at least get your admin back up (assuming you have enough access to your server?):
Step 1 create a folder to move somes file to
move the /plugins/w3-total-cache folder and all contents into the folder
move the following four files from the /wp-config/ folder:
advanced-cache.php
db.php
object-cache.php
w3-total-cache-config.phpinto the storage folder and you should be back up and running (without w3tc however)
I look forward to a more comprehensive fix from the development team.
Seems to fix things from here – thanks!
p.s. if you do get in to the same state as I now have two of my dev sites as Jerome suggests an easy fix is to drop the YARPP folder in the WP plugins directory into a sub folder so it’s not picked up by WP
Note: you will need to reinstall it when a stable version is released, back date to a previous version or be provided with a file/set of files that fix the problem (assuming it is not related to db changes) before you can get it back.
Yup i have the same issue – it happens entirely with the new version of YARPP and either of the latest two versions of WP (I have upgraded to 3.5.1 from 3.5 today (so far at least only on development servers) and both show the problem).
It is not a conflict with any other plugins as on one of my installations I have deactivated everything except for YARPP before upgrading wp then YARRP and the problem still exists.
For now I guess I am left with the need to deactivate YARPP before updating it on all of our websites and leave it deactivated until this is resolved (or not update it in the first place).
Yep same problem and fix
You’ve not packaged this properly Katz potentially 3 files missing doesn’t look like they have changed in this version as your documentation says v2.3. Please try and be more precise with your updates I imagine not many have time to keep patching – We’ve already stopped using your constant contact gravity forms plugin (it opted out some of our new and old contacts making it now impossible to use constant contact to send them emails) – no response on posts in that regard yet.
Hi Daedalon,
Unfortunately I had to stop using the plugin and find other means so I am not at this time able to test the update (we have just published our third website based on wordpress and have an aveage of 150 visitors/2 registrations per day – if we’d continued using the plugin none of this would have happened as it is necessary for people to register to review large parts of our content).
Our current solution, which is using the registration module from gravity forms is adequate but not especially comprehensive and we may look to rejuvinate the system at some point in the future (talking months rather than weeks). At this time I will be sure to feed back on the compatibility of the latest version.
joniborm – thank you for your response unfortunately back in February when I started this thread I had just upgraded to the latest version of WP (a noob error as I should have tested compatibility with my modules first in a dev version but this was my first use of wordpress) the latest pie-register version was not compatibile with WP 3.3 and whilst I waited for over 2 weeks for a fix nothing appeared – I had to move on as I am working on commercial projects.
I’m also trying to do this – now waiting for over 2 weeks for a response (i know 2.0.2 is available but with no ability to auto update I’m waiting to see if any one else has problems before trying the installation om my dev server as I cant test the cc form submission from there anyway).
Bozz if you find a way past this please post something in here – I’m tracking this thread. (at the moment I’m having to back fill any people subscribing to a 2nd list in constant contact which is far from efficient)
Thanks!
I’m using 2.0.1 as of today and it seems not able to run multiple list feeds from the same form (subscribers are only appearing in the CC list for the 2nd feed).
I have now tested this pretty thoroughly and it appears as tho the 2nd list subscription is sent as an overwrite to the first & hence a subscriber recieves one mail welcoming them to the mailing list and another stating that they have changed their options to the 2nd list (and the 1st list no longer remains as active).
It’s a shame because v1.11 was working correctly before i upgraded this morning.
looks like a copy paste error in constant-analytics.php – the version in 2.3.3 has an extra section of code (right at the end of the file) that once removed fixes this issue. (basically the section you have all pasted, from ‘each’ to ‘?>’).
Hope this helps!
