After several attempts to resolve the iusse, support advised me: “It’s likely coming from a server-side security rule, like ModSecurity, that’s causing a block to that specific XML-RPC request.
The XML-RPC file is what Jetpack uses to communicate with your site. Any blocks there can cause errors like this.
Would you please reach out to your host and ask to check the server logs for any blocks? They should be able to identify what’s causing it and remove that block for you”.
