Yes, this fatal error usually occurs when Rank Math encounters a corrupted or invalid schema entry, where a schema value is stored as a string instead of an array. In most cases, this is related to a Product schema attached to a specific post or product.

If this appears to be happening on a specific product page, please remove the existing Product schema in the Product list page (as shown in this screenshot): https://i.rankmath.com/i/iOjL4h

Then, add a fresh Product schema again using the Schema Generator. Save/Update the page and check if the error is resolved.

This usually fixes the issue by clearing out the corrupted schema data and regenerating it correctly.

This is the first time we see that error for this particular version of our plugin.

Are you able to activate our plugin and follow the steps below?

1. Please navigate to Rank Math → Status & Tools → Database Tools and press the “Re-create Table” button. Here’s a screenshot for your reference:

2. Delete all existing Analytics data and fetch a fresh set of data from Google by following this guide: https://rankmath.com/kb/delete-old-analytics-data/

We have removed the mythemeshop/wordpress-helpers package in the latest version, as it’s no longer used in the plugin. Please update the PRO plugin to the latest version to fix the issue if you have the PRO plugin installed.

Yes, Rank Math is designed to override the default canonical URL set by WordPress or any standard theme. If you are seeing double canonical tags, particularly on paginated pages, this is usually caused by a conflict with your active theme or another plugin that is also adding canonical tags.

To resolve this, we recommend checking for plugin or theme conflicts. You can follow the detailed guide here: https://rankmath.com/kb/check-plugin-conflicts/

Please note that only the site admin would need to perform this troubleshooting, and your website users will not be affected while doing this.
