Hello @tippl,
Thank you for contacting us, and we are sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.
Please make sure that you are using the latest version of the WooCommerce plugin on your website.
WooCommerce introduced the
ProductStockStatusclass in version 9.8, which is why it is used in the latest version of our plugin. If you are using an older version of WooCommerce, this error can occur. Please let us know how it goes. We look forward to assisting you further.
Hello @bajlazzo,

Hello @blakeofficial,
If the URL you shared previously isn’t yours, please share your website here with us so we can check the issue further and advice accordingly.
At the moment, we don’t have a dedicated guide to whitelist Rank Math in WP Engine but if visiting this path https://WEBSITE.COM/wp-json/rankmath/v1/updateMeta doesn’t show a 404 response, it means it is currently blocked by server or plugin level. In this case, you’ll have to contact the support folks from WP Engine to ensure that update route is whitelisted.
Looking forward to hearing back from you.
Hello @blakeofficial,
Sucuri is indeed blocking our API route as you can see from this screenshot: https://i.rankmath.com/i/CAPdW3
Please proceed with this guide to help you whitelist our updateMeta route in your website: https://rankmath.com/kb/how-to-whitelist-rank-math-in-sucuri/
Let us know how that goes.
Hello @jlwp123,
Thank you so much for getting in touch.
Rank Math’s Content Analysis checks for an exact match of the Focus Keyword you enter. In your example,
Bicycles womenis treated as different fromBicycles for women, so the test shows it as not present in the title, meta description, or URL. This is simply how our analysis engine currently works and is stricter than some other SEO plugins. That said, this does not affect your actual rankings. Search engines like Google are smart enough to understand variations, word order, and stop words, so your page can still rank perfectly well as long as the keyword is used naturally and contextually in your content.
We don’t have immediate plans to change this behavior, but we’ll be sure to share updates if that changes in the future.
Thank you.
Hello @pawatecnologia,
Thank you for sharing an alternative solution. It adds a fallback for older WooCommerce versions that don’t have the
ProductStockStatusclass which is acceptable.Alternatively, updating WooCommerce to version 9.8 or higher will also resolve the issue, as our latest plugin version relies on that class.
Don’t hesitate to get in touch with us if you have any other questions.
Hello @vitocolazzo,
Thank you for clarifying this. We see that you already created a support ticket for this. Our tech support team will shortly respond and resolve your issue there.
We will now mark this thread as resolve.
Hello @vitocolazzo,
The Schema tab in the Rank Math meta box is only available in the PRO version, so it will appear once you upgrade.
Just make sure that “Remove Snippet Data” is disabled under: WP Dashboard → Rank Math → Titles & Meta → Categories (and other relevant taxonomies).
If the issue persists, please let us know and we’ll be happy to investigate further.
Hello @candirgen,
That’s absolutely correct.
We appreciate you keeping the stable version for now since it’s workng smoothly in your environment. If you decide to test the 8.5 and notice any warnings, errors, or unexpected behavior related to Rank Math, please don’t hesitate to share the details with us. We’ll be happy to look into it right away.
Thanks again for your cooperation and for keeping us informed.
Hello @candirgen,
Thank you so much for getting in touch.
At the moment, we haven’t received any reports from other users encountering issues, warnings, or deprecated function errors when running Rank Math on PHP 8.5. Based on that, it should be safe to proceed with the upgrade.
That said, PHP 8.5 is not yet officially listed as a fully supported version, as our official compatibility is finalized after broader testing and feedback. If you do decide to upgrade, we strongly recommend taking a full backup of your website beforehand. This will allow you to quickly revert to a previous PHP version (such as PHP 8.4) in case you notice any unexpected behavior.
If you encounter any errors or warnings after upgrading, please feel free to share the details with us here, and we’ll be more than happy to investigate and assist further.
Hello @bajlazzo,
Thank you for your query and we are so sorry about the trouble this must have caused.
To help us investigate this further, could you please share the exact Focus Keyword you’re using along with the URL where you’re seeing this message? This will allow us to try and reproduce the issue on our end and assist you more accurately.
We look forward to your response.
Hello @bajlazzo,
You’re very much welcome. Glad this resolves your issue.
Don’t hesitate to get in touch with us if you have any other questions.
