In reply to: [Awesome Surveys] Upgrade crash my siteOh that’s not good at all. I didn’t update because I had a survey going so I’m still on 1.5.2 but good to know that I shouldn’t upgrade when the survey is done.
Can you revert back to the last backup of your site to get the data back? I sure hope so.

In reply to: [Awesome Surveys] Brought down my WordPressIf the deleting of the “Export to CSV for Awesome Surveys” plugin doesn’t work they can always due a restore to the backup. Always good to have a backup on hand cause yo never know when you’ll need it.

I didn’t hear back from you and we have a huge survey that kicks off on Mon so I gave something a try and thought I’d post what I did in case anyone else runs into the issue that I did.
Before you update the Awesome Surveys plugins
1. Do an entire backup of your site (files & database)
2. DEACTIVATE the “Export to CSV for Awesome Surveys” plugin.
3. Update the “Awesome Surveys” plugin.
4. Verify your surveys still work.
5. When all is good go ahead and activate the “Export to CSV for Awesome Surveys”Happy surveying.

Thank you for getting back to me. So should I update the exporter first or deactivate it? I ask this because when I did the awesome survey upgrade this morning the exported was active and I couldn’t do anything after it.
Also, what items are part of the upgrade? Everything seems to work currently except the export results to CSV.

In reply to: Comments are not going to correct postWoohoo I figured out what the problem was. I found that there was a blog post after the one that it kept posting to that had a image-float left. Not sure why that was breaking stuf but I took it out and all is well again.

Any ideas?
