Here is the message I get:
“FTP settings test result: Failure: we did not successfully log in with those credentials.”
But it only does it when I’m not using port 21. The credentials are correct as they work when I change the port back to 21 from the custom port.
Ok. I just setup a local wordpress site using WAMP and installed the newest version of UpdraftPlus free. I then pointed it locally to the ftp server we have setup (with no firewall in between, including Windows firewall) and it fails when I use a port other than 21. When we switched it back to 21, it worked fine.
It’s only when we change the port to something else that it doesn’t work.
Ok. Thanks. At least I know it’s nothing I’m doing wrong in the settings.
I’ll keep working at it.
