In reply to: [Ajaxify Comments - Ajax and Lazy Loading Comments] wptouch proThanks for your comment.
Are you talking about this theme http://www.bravenewcode.com/wptouch/ or are you talking about a plugin?
Could you please send me a link to a page where I can reproduce the problem? Thanks,
JanThanks for your feedback.
Please think about supporting the plugin by making a small donation (http://blog.janjonas.net/donate) or write a short review (http://wordpress.org/support/view/plugin-reviews/wp-ajaxify-comments#postform).
Thanks in advance,
JanHi nevermoor,
Sorry for my late reply. The following settings should fix your problem:
‘OnAfterUpdateComments’ callback:
quicktags(QTags.instances[0].settings);QTags._buttonsInit();@mr Press: If this does not solve your problem, please open another support thread.
Best regards,
JanNow I see your problem. I will try to find a way to enable the quicktags after the comments have been posted…
Maybe a stupid question: Where do I enable these default WordPress 3.6 quicktags? Are they also included in the default WordPress themes like “twenty thirteen”?What are “short tags”? Are you talking about this “Up”-links?
Do you use any 3rd party plugin to add these links? Could you please send me the name of the plugin(s) you are using?Everything seems to work fine. Do your problems still exist?

In reply to: [Ajaxify Comments - Ajax and Lazy Loading Comments] cssHi,
thanks for your comment. I’ve added build-in “Customizing CSS” support on my todo list for feature versions.
With the current version, please try to use mark your CSS styles with “!important” as shown in this example:
div.blockUI { height:20px !important; margin-top:-15px !important; }Hope this helps…

In reply to: [Ajaxify Comments - Ajax and Lazy Loading Comments] Not working out of boxHi,
The error text are the WordPress default error texts. Please take a look into the WordPress “core” to find a way how to change them.
Nevertheless, I will try to find a way to customize the texts in a feature release.Best Regards,
JanPlease send me login credentials. You can send me a private message here: http://blog.janjonas.net/contact.
Hi,
The plugin has been successfully tested with WordPress 3.6.
you find more in formation in the plugin’s FAQ section http://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-ajaxify-comments/faq/ (“How to enable the debug mode?” and “The plugin is not working, what can I do?”).
If this does not help, please send me a link where I can reproduce the problem.
Best Regards,
JanHi ZherGut,
my plugin does not change the way how comments are posted/validated and how the error message is returned to the client in any way.
Support of custom WordPress development is beyond the (free) plugin support I can offer here.
Summarized: If your custom validation fails you have to return the error in the same way like WordPress returns the “ERROR: please type a comment.” error if one submits an empty comment.
Please contact me here (http://blog.janjonas.net/contact) if you need further assistance and we will see if we find a way to solve your problems.
Hope this helps…
Hi Dave,
thanks for the feedback. If you have a lot of traffic you should think about using some caching plugin to reduce the server load if you do not already use a caching plugin.
I will close the topic. Please feel free to reopen the thread if you need further assistance…
