In reply to: Download Monitor – Styling? Thanks James.
45% still had issues, 40% seems to look good in Chrome/IE9 so thats fine. The last remaining style problem, is that on the downloads page, I have those blue bullet points for the entries in the left column.
How can I exclude these from just the downloads page, but not affect posts on other pages?
Thanks again for your prompt help.

In reply to: Boldy Theme – Tweak PHP for 2nd Logo? For info, I did actually get an answer to this on the great Stack Exchange WordPress site.
However, its not the answer I need.
It gave me an example of how to tweak the CSS to take the ‘Request Quote’ button (swapped image over in my screengrab) and shift it to the location I point to in my screenshot.I actually need to find a way to create a new placeholder for a new image above the social media icons, one that stays in the header, regardless of what page you are on.
I have no clue how to modify the PHP to do this. Any suggestions would be great, as I am happy with all other aspects of the theme, but if I can’t crack this one soon, I am going to have to hunt down another theme soon.

In reply to: Fixed vs Fluid – Banner troubleI guess id like to replicate what is on this site
Ive been trying to use Firebug to understand if they have a fixed or fluid design. Is it fixed at 769px wide?

In reply to: Fixed vs Fluid – Banner troubleyou’ll probably need to edit your header some. Except for the text it looks like it would stretch pretty well
Actually the text is part of the image.
Can you provide any info on how I go about ‘stretching’ my image.
Are you talking about adding in a bar thats a solid colour and somehow using the magic of CSS, make it stretch?Any more detailed help on this would be really appreciated.

In reply to: Fixed vs Fluid – Banner troublesince you asked, build it fluid
So, do I have to do some fancy things to my banner image, like add in separate images, and make a single colour part of the banner ‘stretch’ when browsers are resized?
