You need application approval only for PRO version, and only in case if you want to import comments from your user profile. In all other cases, everything will work just fine without approval.

1. Import from facebook group is possible, but I tested it only on public groups. If you want, you can contact me on email, and we can test is it working with your group (in case if you have closed or secret group)
2. Recently facebook made some changes in their API, and now is additional approval required for reading user wall. Using read_stream endpoint is possible only if you get approval from facebook. Without that approval plugin still can import comments from old posts (3 weeks or older).

Blank page is usually problem with server timeout. If you need only link type, I believe we can improve performance by removing other types from API call.

Few days ago we are solved egars problem. It was adblock in question. I would like to see what is problem in other cases.

If I understand correctly, you actually want to import comments from “facebook social plugin” (https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/comments) to the wordpress database.
We have another plugin created exactly for that -https://wordpress.org/plugins/fb-comments-box-importer/
Even if that’s not what you need, contact me and I’ll check is it possible to get those comments, and publish update with that feature.

There are a lot of satisfied free version users, if you have any question feel free to contact me, and I’ll help you with setting up your free version of plugin.

I think it is impossible (not available in facebook api) for now to import any comments to the Facebook social plugin. Probably because of privacy issues.

It is fixed now, I’ll release update probably tomorrow, after I improve few more things
Unfortunately, for now with our plugin you can only import comments to the existing wordpress posts. But your idea is very interesting, we will consider to implement something like that in future.
Hello, can you please explain little better how do you mean “Publish Facebook Page post”?
Basically plugin is created for importing comments from facebook. You can import comments from your facebook page or group. In most cases if you have link to your site inside facebook post, plugin will automatically connect that entry with wordpress post.
Pro version offers some more options, like connecting facebook posts with wordpress manually, automatic import and etc.

Yeah, problem is the same like with our other plugin, but those notices does not affect on any part of plugin functionality.
