In reply to: [Categories Images] Compatibility with WP 6.0You said solved, but you don’t mention what the resolution was nor is there a response…please advise.
So you can install it at the network level, then activate on the (one) site level – correct?

In reply to: [XML Sitemap Generator for Google] Blocking search enginesVersion 4.1.5 is now out as of late last night. It cures the bugs that I was seeing, so far. It does require your Google Analytics ID, however to work. It looks to cut out Bing notifications altogether…though.
Please speak to the removal of Bing sitemaps…someone…

In reply to: [XML Sitemap Generator for Google] PHP Fatal error:You mentioned that 4.1.5 was now available but I just checked and the latest is still 4.1.4…
4.1.1 seems stable, what is wrong with that one for you? Do you see something I don’t.

In reply to: [XML Sitemap Generator for Google] Google XML Sitemaps 4.1.4 Not workingI downloaded 4.1.2 and also downgraded to it, but in both cases it still shows the latest version, 4.1.4 which is saturated with bugs. I COULD, however downgrade or download and manually go to 4.1.1…
Version 4.1.4 didn’t fix the items it specifically stated it did, in fact it made it worse and it has been over a week without even a response from the developer. This sitemap worked great for literally years – what is going on?
The only option currently, to avoid all the current bugs is to downgrade to 4.1.1.
Yeah you can’t downgrade to 4.1.2, only 4.1.1 from the current version. I can even select it (i see it) and it says it does it but then in fact does not…

In reply to: [XML Sitemap Generator for Google] Query noticeIt seems it is also having other php issues, or maybe this is related but the xml file will not open in chrome and in firefox it gives this error:
“XML Parsing Error: no root element found”
Unfortunately, that is incorrect. When you activate 4.1.3, and go to look at the xml url it throws all kinds of php errors and does not generate a sitemap. So although the settings look fine and don’t say there is an error, it does not work. You will have to rollback to 4.1.1 until the team actually submits the update they said there were going to but did not (again it was and still is the same buggy 4.1.3).

In reply to: [XML Sitemap Generator for Google] NOT blocking search enginesYep, the prior version where the bug was introduced 4.1.3 is still the latest version as of 4 PM today. Either they updated with the same version number or it has not actually been pushed through (I assume it should be 4.1.4)…

In reply to: [XML Sitemap Generator for Google] Blocking search enginesThe older version, 4.1.3, that introduced the bug is still the latest version available as confirmed by others. When will the patched version 4.1.4 actually be released???
Says this issue was solved, but it in fact has not been and same buggy version 4.1.3 is still up where the bug was introduced…
