In reply to: [ProPlayer] proplayer fork bombHi folks,
Those are actually unit test files. You can safely delete the whole unit-test folder. It was never meant to be deployed anyway.. I’ll try to put that in the readme file later on..

In reply to: [ProPlayer] ProPlayer stopped working right?Hi,
I’ll try to look at that. The new version is currently in progress, but it’s going slow since I’ve so much in my hands right now. I’m aware of lots of little problems.. Most problems occur because of some other plugins or some custom WP template/tag usages.
It’s going slow, but try to understand there are so many requests. And I’m also trying to give HTML5 support. So at this point, I’m not sure if I should be continuing with JW Player or find another base. Since it’s the only peace that I cannot fully open source it. And this decision will effect my release date.
Hope u understand,
Best,

In reply to: [Plugin: ProPlayer] fatal error@lorenzo, I don’t get what you mean by mistake in PHP4 & PHP5? AFAIK, PHP4 supports static keywords. Those constants should be directly accessible from anywhere. It must be something else?
But then again replacing constants with define sounds logical. 10x for the tip.

In reply to: [Plugin: ProPlayer] Video Is Not Avalable??@kyle911 I’ve checked your domain again. I didn’t think initially, but your server ping time is high. Your page loads are more than 30secs for me (I’m in Vancouver, Canada). I guess you’re being timeout in video display since JW Player’s timeout is by default 10. And unfortunately there is no way to override that AFAIK.
The only advice I can give to you is talk to your hosting and see if you guys can do something about it.

In reply to: [Plugin: ProPlayer] Video Is Not Avalable??@kyle911 it might be the url that u’re using. jw player gets confused with encodings. I’d recommend you to use simple file names.

In reply to: [Plugin: ProPlayer] fatal errorHi all,
I answered this question actually in my blog. Let me quickly rephrase. Basically your hosting company is limiting STATIC keyword usages in PHP for (I guess) security reasons. You should talk to them and ask for some help. I believe you can resolve by playing with .htaccess file.

In reply to: [Plugin: ProPlayer] Flow View (playing clips from own web server)Guys sorry for late response, I’m so busy and the plugin is getting more attention that I was expecting. It’s really hard to answer dozens of e-mail everyday. I hope u understand.
Anyways, for your issues; right now I don’t support separate titles and preview images. With current implementation it’s not doable. I’ll put this into my notes, and sometime next week I might release st, because this features is one of the most wanted feature so far. I’ll look at it.
Keep an eye on the updates 🙂
Best,
Isa
