    Totally unsolicited spam

    The link is in new order notification to admin and it links with a analytics campaign to https://woocommerce.com/mobile/ not any specific area on any mobile app.

    This is not only annoying, what are you expecting from this?

    It uses little data but is still data being used unnecessarily.

    Where can this forced spam be removed?

    I’m having the exact same issue. Customers even get charge (temporary hold) but there is no invoice, no failed order, no PayPal receipt, nothing. Shows absolutely nothing, i only know customer tried because they send me pictures of the bank with the hold.

    The rare thing is that some do work, which is extra weird. There must be something wrong in the plugin or within PayPal themselves.

    AGAIN some do work, so everything is setup correctly, and matter fact is the only issue IDEAL I take payment from all over Europe, they all work perfect. NO issues at all

    i called paypal, they straight up told me is the third party plug in issue.

    i have hide the payment method IDEAL because my customer believe they are getting scammed upon receiving absolutely no record of the transaction except in their bank.

    One more important thing, this happened with the old plug in getting unsupported in March 2022 as well as new plug in updated with the post march version.

    Also important, this is strictly a paypal issue, when i was using stripe, never had this issue.

    Hey @dougaitken

    that is exactly how i had it, unchecked enable standard tracking (standard to be done by sitekit)

    The problem is when both are enabled as mentioned, sales stop counting unless this was recently fixed?

    reproduced on all my sites.

    This plugin (unchecked enable standard tracking) + site kit, no sales count
    this plugin (checked standard tracking) + DISABLED site kit, sales do count.

    is very easy to reproduce. While support is not declared, standard tracking (site kit or any other) shouldn’t have a conflict with this plug in but who knows.

    Maybe gtags supersedes any previous analytics script not using gtags?

    It seems the issue is Site kit, i removed it and left only this plug in for both and works fine.

    Definitely sure is conflict with site kit!
