Hi @jesq,
Please feel free to reach out to our support team directly at https://www.imagely.com/report-bug/ and we’ll have a direct look at the problem to see if there’s anything we can suggest.
Thanks
Hi @decouverte,
This appears to be a longstanding case that’s on ShortPixel side because they have an integration with NextGen and they may need to add an additional check if NextGen is active before they use that constant.
As a workaround, you can temporarily deactivate Shortpixel plugin first and only then deactivate NextGen.
Hi @paveldufek,
You can choose to disable FA loading from “NextGen Gallery -> Other Options -> Miscellaneous -> Do not enqueue FontAwesome: Yes” then load your own FA version using a separate plugin let’s say.
Hi @dansart,
Thanks for reaching out. Pope framework is up to be completely removed from NextGen and that’ll take care of these warnings.

Hi @calbs
First of all, could you please let us know if you use any sections that are generated by third party plugins on that page?
We hope that you wouldn’t mind adding the following constants at the top of your wp-config.php file to see if that helps:
define("NGG_DISABLE_SHORTCODE_MANAGER", TRUE); define('NGG_ENABLE_RESOURCE_MANAGER', TRUE)Hi @calbs,

In reply to: [Photo Gallery, Sliders, Proofing and Themes - NextGEN Gallery] Double arrowsMost likely NextGen’s loads its own FA version that conflicts with the theme.
Let’s try deactivating NextGen’s Fontawesome from “NextGen Gallery -> Other Options -> Miscellaneous” by selecting “Yes” for “Do not enqueue FontAwesome” and “Save Options” then check again to see if that’ll resolve the style problem you have.
Hi @sarkonpl,
If your theme follows WP’s standards for the excerpts, you should be able to set custom excerpts for your posts excluding anything you wouldn’t like displayed on the main Blog page.
Here’s a video that explains in details how to add them https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5hM9GQJDuGI

Sounds great and thanks for your confirmation.
Hi @maxinegun,
You can implement your custom lightbox adding it via a third party plugin such as https://wordpress.org/plugins/fancybox-for-wordpress/ ( or your own lightbox plugin ) then deactivate NextGen’s lightbox effect from “NextGen Gallery -> Other Options -> Lightbox Effects” choosing “None” for “What lightbox would you like to use?” and usually, it’ll automatically make use of the third party lightbox for the gallery images.
Hi @ailaina123456,
We are sorry but this isn’t something currently available with NextGen plugins. We’d be happy to register it as a feature request though.
Thanks for your input,
Imagely TeamHi @igsalomatin,
Unfortunately, there’s no such a setting that’d allow sorting the galleries within the Manage Albums interface.
There are such plans to revamp entirely NextGen’s interface and start with the Manage Albums and Manage Galleries in order to improve the UI.
