In reply to: WP Compatibility Patch HelpJust adding that I’m having the same issue… Website crashes when “WP Compatibiity Patch” is activated. It was actually a subcontractor who installed it for me, so I’m not sure the exact purpose, but I seem to recall it was to make an older version of Avada compatible with newer PHP versions. At least that’s what I’m recalling.
Looks like my current Avada version is 7.2.1 but I think I might have updated it at some point… so hopefully that plugin is no longer needed.Fantastic! Thank you so much for the support!!!

Aha! I was making this much more difficult than it needed to be. Looks like all I need to do is add a link to the mp3 file in the “media URL” field, and the PowerPress stuff gets added automatically. I now have it working correctly on http://www.henschenassoc.com/category/bd-trends/ (yay!)
One last question… Do I need to do anything beyond this to have the “Subscribe” links work? For example, do I need to login to iTunes or Android websites & let them know when I add a new podcast?
* Sorry about the boneheaded questions – I’m REALLY new to podcasting. Sounds like I’m close though!

The problem is actually that I don’t know how to get PowerPress to add the audio & links to my new podcasts (manual adding is fine). Here are my example pages…

This post was online when I originally scanned the page. It has the original audio file I had on the page (under the title), and it also has the new audio file & links added by PowerPress. This is correct! (I’ll hide the second audio file later with css).NOT WORKING:

I see the original file I put on the post, but not the PowerPress audio file & links. I want to add the PowerPress features to this file. What I’m trying is…
– Go to “PowerPress > Import Podcast”
– Click on “Podcast RSS Feed” and enter http://www.henschenassoc.com/podcast-test2/?feed=rss as the feed URL
– Click “Import Podcast” and it says “Items Found: 0”Any clues as to why it doesn’t see the audio file on the page? Or am I doing this totally wrong? My goal is to get the PowerPress audio file & links on this page (like it did on the first pages I scanned).

In reply to: [Parallax Image] z-Index Help?Yes, my theme does use Visual Composer – which includes a parallax-like effect, but I don’t like it :-/
If you go to http://demo.qodeinteractive.com/strata/home-7/ you can see Visual Composer’s parallax effect in the “credit card” area (green background image appears/disappears, in addition to scrolling).
I don’t like how this looks, so was searching for an alternative. Your plugin works GREAT (and is simple to use)… I just can’t figure out how to get the text to appear on top of the image.
If I sent you wordpress login (or a copy of the Strata theme) for testing, would you be willing to take another look? Or is making the plugin compatible with Visual Composer a lower priority for you? (if so, I’ll understand)

One more question if I may…
On http://www.pixinteractive.com/happydragon/schedule3/ the “responsive” feature is working great (love it). But is there a way to make all the columns move to the “plus” area when responsive is triggered?
If you make the page thinner you’ll see that “Worker 3” is the first column to disappear (move into the “plus” area), but it doesn’t make much sense to just have the “Worker 3” content in the plus area. Is it possible to make it collapse ALL the columns into the “plus” area as soon as it goes to responsive mode?

– http://www.lunar.com/test/jw-player/ is working fine. I have one video file (with custom thumbnail) + two audio files (with custom player).
– http://www.lunar.com/jw-player/ has everything setup the same way. But on this one I get an error message if I try to create a custom player. It also doesn’t give me the option of selecting a thumbnail for the video.
The second installation has a lot more going on, so I first tried deactivating all the plugins and setting theme to default. But no joy :-/
I really need to get this running. Can I hire you to login and take a look? I would gladly pay you for your help.
