I’m having an issue with the WP-Property WordPress plug-in. Unfortunately it doesn’t look like anyone involved with the project is active in these support forums anymore, despite the plug-in’s Support tab directing users to this forum for help.
Unfortunately, we cannot afford to provide you free support. It’s very expensive to provide an infinite amount of free support. We tried it for a long time and it’s not sustainable.
This forum is for free community support. It means the community contributes their time to support each other while using the free plugin. Welcome to Open Source – a community-driven effort.
Empty the
BucketandService Account JSONfields and you can run the setup assistant again. During the setup assistant process, you can create a new project and bucket.Good luck!
Are these thumbnails registered with the WordPress Media Library or are they generated dynamically by a theme or plugin?
If they are registered thumbnail sizes, then those files are probably missing on GCS and you simply need to regenerate the image.
If they are dynamically generated by a theme or plugin, compatibility will be required to support them. You can request such compatibility on the project’s GitHub repository at https://github.com/wpCloud/wp-stateless/issues

In reply to: [WP-Stateless - Google Cloud Storage] Images still stored on serverDepends if you configured WP-Stateless properly and if your plugins/theme are using the Media Library correctly.
If your theme or plugin uses local storage and does not register media objects within the library, you will need to rely on compatibility. If there is no available compatibility, submit a GitHub issue and the developers may consider developing one.
For example, my WordPress sites all run 100% stateless with all images stored in Google Cloud Storage.
It’s possible, but it depends on your own experience and knowledge to set things up correctly.
We’ve been discussing internally on improving the sync process. At the moment, there is no other offering beyond what the plugin provides in the current released version.

In reply to: [WP-Stateless - Google Cloud Storage] Failing sync for large librariesSynchronizing a large media library is slow going, but it is possible. A better sync process is planned, but there is no timeline at the moment.
Thanks for the review and have a great day.

In reply to: [WP-Stateless - Google Cloud Storage] App EngineWe are adding direct support for Google App Engine in the next release. Follow along at https://github.com/wpCloud/wp-stateless/issues/486
Alright, we can support App Engine. We’ll include this in the next release.
If anyone else is interested in helping us test a release candidate, please email me directly at eric@udx.io
Quick Update.
We’re testing a version of Stateless on App Engine now. Hopefully, I’ll have good news for everyone later this week.
In the meantime, if you’re interested in helping us test out this feature – please email me at eric@udx.io. Thanks
We’ll check it out.
Beyond that, what about the Google plugin does not work for you? Why WP-Stateless over the other option?
Thanks again
We’re looking into this. Thanks for the tip!

In reply to: [WP-Stateless - Google Cloud Storage] Gravity Forms Uploads not working@mb-jan did you try testing it via enabling the setting in the settings panel? Maybe the constant isn’t working correctly?
Within the WP-Stateless setup assistant, your bucket will be created with a multi-region location type. This provides the highest availability across the largest area for Google Cloud Storage.
The plugin is free.
@mb-jan I proposed a solution for this in a GitHub issue at https://github.com/wpCloud/wp-stateless/issues/149#issuecomment-583015180
This is a known issue and we’re working on a solution for the next release.
