In reply to: [tinyCoffee] Doesn’t workYour PayPal username is the email address you used to register for your PayPal account. It is a standard identifier used across all kinds of payment solutions that rely on PayPal. This description is also the first result on Google if you search for
Paypal username.I am sorry to hear you find tinyCoffee Settings page confusing. I was under impression that they are pretty self explanatory, because you are the first person to express that sentiment in the 3 years the plugin has been around. Now that I am aware of it, I will be providing a more detailed descriptions of the settings.
I do expect users of my free opensource plugin to do basic research and fill support requests when something is not working/unclear.

In reply to: [tinyCoffee] Doesn’t workHi, @lwpjapan,
First of all, thank you for taking time in writing this review.
Also, thank you for taking time to submit a support request in the forum. Giving me all details about your system (WordPress version, Theme name, active plugins, server configuration) and the error you are getting at PayPal that would help me to find the problem and find a reasonable solution for you. I really appreciate it.
The plugin has not been updated because there are currently unresolved bug reports and I am not working on new features at the moment. It has been tested with WordPress 4.7 and Twenty Sixteen / Twenty Seventeen themes. You can also see it working perfectly on my site and my blog.

In reply to: [Content Cards] Conflict with another pluginHi vinzen, thanks for reporting this.
It appears both pugins are using the same OpenGraph library. I’ll add a conditional check for this in the next release of Content Cards. In the meantime, you can comment out line 577 on content-cards.php to make the plugin work with Go Fetch Jobs.

In reply to: [Content Cards] Facebook images not showingHello nay-k,
Thanks for reporting this. I’ve looked into a couple links on Facebook and actually they do not seem to be using OpenGraph data in their own links. Which is a bit weird, but I guess they figure they have better ways to recognize and display their own content and they do not care much about how other people are using OpenGraph data. There is not much we can do in this way, but I’ll look into it to see if I can use some alternative way to scrape photo from them.

In reply to: [Content Cards] Content Card doesn''t show imageHi! The site logo on the content card is generated via favicons. Your site seems to lack one. You can add a favicon to a wordpress website via Site icon setting in Customizer.

In reply to: [tinyCoffee] Coffee icon, slider bar and amount is not visibleHi and thanks for reporting!
Sounds like a CSS issue, probably your theme’s CSS clashing with tinyCoffee’s CSS. I can’t see the widget on your site at the moment, so I can’t give you specific instructions how to fix it.

In reply to: [Content Cards] Legal worriesHello,
We’ve added a checkbox to disable local image caching in plugin options screen in version 0.9.4 that was released today.

In reply to: [Content Cards] Does Not work anymore with the new version of wordpressThis should now be fixed in version 0.9.4. together with some other improvements. For some reason, relative requires/includes do not work anymore in WordPress 4.4, so we converted them to absolute paths.

In reply to: [Content Cards] Content Card Not Displaying Correct Image on Own SiteHello MagggieB,
What this means, that we have made a fix for this issue and it will be available as soon as we release next version to the plugin repository. That should happen in a few days.
If you don’t want to wait, you can download and install the latest development version here: https://github.com/ideag/content-cards/archive/master.zip
Fair warning – we haven’t released it yet for a reason. There might be some bugs left and we haven’t documented latest features yet. So if you are not a technical person, it might be safer for you to wait for the version release.Arūnas
