In reply to: [Email Users] Not sending emailsI’m also having the same problem as Srumery not been able to send/receive emails. The plugin says they have been sent but they don’t arrive.
I installed Email Users Version 4.3.21 on my WordPress Version 3.5.1 site.
I added some test users with different email addresses and can use the ‘Send an Email to Individual Users’ and select one and it arrives.
If I select 2 or more users in the ‘Send an Email to Individual Users’ or use the ‘Send an Email to User Groups’ option no user gets the email.
Each time I send, I only receive a copy to the ‘From Sender Email
Address’. Even if I untick ‘Exclude sender from email recipient list’ I still get it, but none of my other test user emails receive the email.I have tried it several times, changed different settings but still no go.
I need it for the mass emailing, not the ‘Individual User’ option so any help you can give would be fantastic.

I checked wp-config.php and it has all those values entered.But this one is blank in the quotes, like this:
$table_prefix = ”;The plugin seems to be recording the stats fine however, so if it is, then will leave it for now. Cheers 🙂

But as soon as I tried to change the location for this:
$wp_root_folder = ‘../../..’;For example to:
$wp_root_folder = ‘../../../..’;
$wp_root_folder = ‘../..’;I get:
Error: wp-config not foundThe file is in the correct location:
http://www.example.com/wordpress-installed-here/wp-config.phpHi there.
I’m getting parsing “Error parsing wp-config” message when viewing it in the browser?
http://www.example.com/sub-folder/wp-content/plugins/wp-slimstat/wp-slimstat-js.php
What does that mean and how can I fix it?

You mentioned in your plugin description that Relevanssi plugin http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/relevanssi/ works with your one.
So I decided to try that one and sure enough, I am seeing tag results appearing in the live search 🙂

Yes, both those fields are filled in.
I tried the default settings for email using:
[admin_email]
and also tried it with my normal email added in the field, but both get delivered to my gmail saying (unknown sender)I thought maybe it was a conflict with “WP-Mail-SMTP” plugin which worked fine with your previous version:
http://www.callum-macdonald.com/code/wp-mail-smtp/But I deactivated that and it still gets sent with (unknown sender) 🙁

Hmm good question, I suggest just recording the final keys entered before the mouse was clicked as it should be closer the the end result the user was searching for.
What would be really great is if the plugin could search the text inside PDF files added to blog as well and display those results.
Am planning on adding lots of PDFs instead of content, but the default search does not do this.Thanks heaps for your time guys 🙂
