    I can see how that was confusing, but no, I didn’t have a period in the link. I was just putting a period at the end of my sentence and the proper way to do that is inside the quotes. Just good grammar, not lousy html. I wish it was that simple though!

    Thank you for explaining that it’s a theme error. So, does that mean I can’t fix it??? I’m not tech or WordPress savvy at all, so please explain to me step by step and detailed.
    Thanks!

    Thank you for trying to help me, but I still can’t figure it out.

    I highlighted the word (my name on the welcome page) that I want people to click on to take them to my Bio page. I hit the link button and deleted the http:// and entered “#heatherbio.”
    Then I went to my bio page where I wanted the anchor (where it says my name at the beginning of my bio, halfway down the page) and I entered the html code you suggested. It looks like this:

    <div id=”heatherbio”>
    Heather Shannon, M.Ed., LPC
    </div>

    When I click on “Heather’s” on the welcome page now, nothing happens.

    More help please : )
