In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] tracks-events.min.js 404Hi Dermot,
Your site is a WordPress.com Business site so please contact us at https://wordpress.com/help/contact
Hello,
I’ve tested the slideshow feature with both Classic Editor and Block Editor and they’re all good on my testing site.
It looks like that your homepage is not completely loaded as shown in this screenshot https://d.pr/i/Evz1wX
The cause might not be from Jetpack. You may follow a guide like this https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-set-up-wordpress-error-logs-in-wp-config/ to check which plugin/theme is causing this issue.

Hello,
We noticed that you contacted us via ticket system, and our colleagues helped you move stats and followers from your previous WordPress.com site to the current self-hosted site properly.
If you still have any issue, feel free to contact us via that email/ticket system.
Thank you.
Hello
In the past my site had the URL http://www.freiheitsreisen.de/ but in 2018 I moved to URL https://danielhogen.de.
On our end, there are two IDs related to your sites: 111297366 and 186285290.
However, they are connected to different WordPress.com accounts/emails.
Please contact us via this contact form. After that, we can verify your ownership of two sites and consider merging stats for your site.
Thanks!

In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] CLS caused by LazyloadingHello,
Would you mind clarifying CLS? What is it? I am sorry if there is an apparent answer to it.
1. Exclusion Rule for lazy loading logo (I will also ask to Jetpack support)
You can consider using one of two hooks below:
https://developer.jetpack.com/hooks/jetpack_lazy_images_blacklisted_classes/
https://developer.jetpack.com/hooks/jetpack_lazy_images_skip_image_with_attributes/2. Need a Placeholder for my Logo which loads to fit the logo and doesn’t create CLS. (A Placeholder that generates to fit logo and lazyloading image setting will help us to use animated logo too.)
We’re not having a placeholder for a specific image with Jetpack Lazy Images feature. Instead, we only have the option to change the placeholder for all images
https://developer.jetpack.com/hooks/lazyload_images_placeholder_image/Could you please post your site URL here so that we can have a look?
If you want it to remain private, you can also contact us via this contact form. If you choose to reach out directly, please include a link to this thread.
I get the error “Jetpack Dashboard was unable to properly communicate with your website. Please check your website’s error logs to see what’s wrong.”.
Did you check your site error logs? What’s are you seeing there?
Thanks!

I had a look at our internal discussions regarding this, and we may need to log in to your site and check this issue further.
Could you please post your site URL here so that we can have a look?

Furthermore, the “health” status on wordpress says there is an issue with “server port value” of jetpack.
What’s the specific error message here?
Could you please post your site URL here so that we can have a look?

Where did you do the schema test to see the error?
Thanks!
Hello there,
On our testing, we’re seeing this error
Could not validate security tokenthat means you disconnected Jetpack on your site.Would you mind reconnecting Jetpack again, and then keep Jetpack on your site? After that, we can check what is happening then.
Hi @txtrainwreck,
Thanks for providing us more info.
On our end, it’s showing that your site was disconnected to Jetpack from 2019-08-19 to 2020-11-07. It’s likely that Jetpack was not active during this period and the tracking code did not appear on your site. In other words, Jetpack did not collect your site stats during this period of time.
It’s a pity that there is no way to recover stats as Jetpack did not log them.
Hello,
Thanks for providing more info. It seems that your site address used to have “www” but now it’s using the non-www version.
The original issue seems to be resolved already. We’re not seeing any issue when running connection tests for your site. The last full-sync was successful 5 days ago.
In case, you’d like to kick off a new full-sync or check its status, please find here:
We’re marking this as resolved. Feel free to open a new topic here if you have another issue.
Hello,
Certainly it’s possible another plugin is causing problems in conjunction with Jetpack, but that may be Jetpack’s fault as much as the other plugin, no?
That’s when the issue is called a “compatibility issue”. In other words, Jetpack and another plugin/theme are not playing together nicely. But it’s hard to tell the fault is from which. Most of the time, either Jetpack or the other theme/plugin needs to make a change. But sometimes, both need to change too.
Finally, the purpose of the test steps we mentioned above is to identify which plugin/theme is causing the conflict with Jetpack. We do not imply the fault is from Jetpack or another theme/plugin.
When you have done the steps above, feel free to let us know the result so we can continue helping you.
Hello,
It is not that comments aren’t showing, as you can probably see if you visit my site, it is that they aren’t showing in conversation view in the reader and app notifications ( just to be clear ). How long shall I wait for the re-sync to happen before checking?
That depends on your site’s size. You can check your full-sync status here https://wordpress.com/settings/manage-connection/your-domain.com
We’ve checked your site. The last incremental sync was 4 hours ago, and the last full-sync was 11 hours ago.
Checking your notification and comments in Reader, they’re all good now.
Feel free to open a new thread here if you have another issue.
