We currently support for various web servers, like apache, nginx, litespeed, IIS. If the server you intend to move to in the list above, then you can still use those tweaks normally. Please follow the instruction for apply the tweaks to your new server.

The IP Lockout use your local database, so no external API contact ;). In some case, the upgrading can take longer, please give it a little time.
Also, can you please check if we have any errors in the debug.log? That can give us some clues.

In some case, it will take more time to complete the upgrading. My opinion is create a staging site from your live site, and let the new Defender do there stuff there for sure 🙂

This look like Chrome or Firefox browser cache. Please hard refresh the page couple times by using ctrl+f5, this should help.

I think it is fine for running Defender. Please note that our Lockout module will store fail login or when someone visit a 404 page as log. This will be kept in your database for 30 days by default, in some case your databse size will be increase. If that case happen you can clear the log or change the storage days.

There might have conflict betweek the 2 plugins, as some feature are similar and hook into core like the Login protection. So I suggest to turn it off by visiting WP Defender->IP Lockout, and disable the Login Protection.
Other features can work together I think. But for safe you should have a full backup before process.
