I’ve got the exact same problem with galleries. The slide show tag will show the first picture but it won’t start. I’ve noticed something else: when I preview a post with a gallery tag in it, the footer is not in line with the body of the post, pulling to the right…
I’m running WP 2.6.2 BTW.

I ended up spending two hours last night downloading new FTP clients just in case the ones I already had wouldn’t show the “precious” htaccess file. Now I can upgrade without fear! 😉

I’ve been using the Japanese language version for a while and it’s working fine, except for showing the month and date in the posts. What’s weird is that they show up fine in the calendar. Any idea?
