Garbage chars – No, even when I write and enter correct keyboard vanilla characters, what is shown on the site are ‘smart’ quotes.. :\ I’ve even changed the admin .css fonts to all courier so there’s no mistake by chance… but still smart quotes appear.Forum: Everything else WordPress
In reply to: Many topics invisible?i’m trying to find out how to fix displaying garbage characters that appear instead of quotes and double quotes inside the posts (or to suppress smart quotes at all), and also why can’t I update my template (permission correct, etc). Thank you for your help!

I have to manually upload the index.php via FTP. any help?
