Thank you Talton.
The posts in question all have existing published comments, but the commenting was turned off so that no new comments are received.
I actually assumed that’s the purpose of the per-post Allow Comments setting (ie, turn off/on receiving new comments, but keep displaying the old ones.) Disqus was also respecting this until something happened either with my theme or WP upgrade to 3.3.1.
Thanks.
Thank you Talton. I ended up closing the thread via Disqus outside of WP Editor.
I will dig deeper into the theme later, the theme hasn’t changed and this bug only just started affecting it after WP upgrading to 3.3.1.
Thank you.
Could anyone confirm if this is indeed an issue before I either disable Disqus or investigate further with my installation, please?
All my old posts with comments turned off are now receiving trolling/spamming comments again (which I really do not want!) 🙁 and I don’t want Disqus uninstalled!
Thank you.

In reply to: [Plugin: W3 Total Cache] Manually refresh a page/url’s cache? Thanks fredericktownes.
I guess there’s a problem with my installation then because editing a post does not refresh the respective cache, and cache only gets refreshed after the specified expiry in settings.
Time to explore my settings!
Cheers.

In reply to: [Plugin: Really Static] Just can’t get it to work0KB-Files mean that really-static get an error while reading.
How to find out what kind of error that would be?
03 Feb 2010 21:01:27: get http://edit.example.org/sitemap.xml
Yes, Log file shows GET http://www.domain.com/myblog/wordpress/postname-postid.html
So please check if http://edit.example.org/sitemap.xml really exist
All URLs really exist and work fine (I have about 20 plugins installed and all work fine, including WP Super-Cache.) I also disabled all plugins and tried just Really Static but no use.
WP is installed in http://www.domain.com/myblog/wordpress/
Working blog location is http://www.domain.com/myblog/
Permalink structure is http://www.domain.com/myblog/post-name-postid.html
Really-Static destination folder is http://www.domain.com/staticblog/ (where 0KB files are being written and where I want them to be written.)Thanks.

In reply to: [Plugin: Global Translator] Working with 2.8?Thanks numeeja. I can live without upgrading for a while. If it doesn’t get supported for 2.8 in a long time, will clone my translated pages, remove plugin, and move on I guess.

In reply to: [Plugin: Global Translator] Pagination returns 404Jayen: I still haven’t got around to enable Super Cache yet so can’t really say (things are running smooth but sooner or later I’ll have to get Super Cache another go) May be there’s someone else running Global Translator with Supercache to chime in here?
By the way I have a similar setup as yours except that I’m running PHP4.

In reply to: [Plugin: Global Translator] Pagination returns 404I figured it out, for anyone who’s interested: I disabled two plugins: Decategorizer and Redirection. Had to rename my categories though. Have also disabled WP Super Cache, just in case. Will wait for a while and if everything’s fine, am going to at least enable WP Super Cache (which I don’t think was causing the problem, but who knows.)

In reply to: Upgrade to 1.5: Is this possible (recommended?)Yes of course, but as a devout believer in Murphy’s laws… there must be more than just templates that could go wrong, right?

By the way, the https error “Sorry, you need to enable sending referrers…” still is happening even after enabling everything in my browser according to the link you gave… does it has to do with my server then?
