So, I’ll preface this by saying I’m coming in with little specific knowledge for you of how this all works, but just looking through your needs, I found Evently. If you read through all the options, its extremely customizable and even comes with a specific “Child Theme” which is right up your alley.
For there, I think you would best use the “User registration & user profile – Profile Builder” plugin.
Payments is up to you as there are MANY options out there, one that I find easy is Stripe Payments, which is also a plugin.
I’ll leave the other things to other people as its all beyond my wheel well, but hopefully this is what you were looking for and can get you started!

So, I’m not too familiar with the specific plugin, but searching around, I found “CM Registration.” From the description, it says “It supports creating a popup login and registration box, ajax registration, or login while allowing users to stay on the same page after login.”
I don’t know if this is what you are looking for specifically, that last part sounds specifically like the second part you needed.

In reply to: Posts with images will not publishHello! Can I ask what browser you use and whether or not you’ve tried on different browsers? I found an article about this issue when using safari, and the advice was:
On Safari Menu bar > Preferences > Privacy > Remove all website data
On prompt select ‘Remove Now’
All cookies will be cleaned up & now test your website is working or not.
It should start working as normal.Just a a suggestion, hopefully it helps!

I think I don’t quite understand the issue, when you say screen settings, do you mean switching between different types of screens, like phone/ipad/computer? Or different size screens? At what screen setting are you seeing the cropping issue?

I think the best option for you would be to use the Google Translate Widget, found here:

That way your site can be in the language they choose but you will still have your admin console in your language.

In reply to: Default TaglineI’d just like to add, “Just another WordPress site” has really become associated with WordPress, to the point that it’s easily recognizable as the motto. Cutesy or not, it’s the tagline that everyone associates with WordPress, and to change it now would be tantamount to changing Nike’s “Just do it”. Although you may find it a bit embarrassing, I assure you that no one else sees it as anything more than a familiar motto, and it in no way demeans the quality of your site to the reader.
