@lorro – thanks for the plugin suggestions, I will give these a try and see if it works with my conversion code. Appreciate all your help on this thus far. 🙂

Hi again – in an effort to keep things simple, and not mess with child them php files, could I just paste the google conversion code into the text box of my Checkout page that I already have? This page was orginally created so that I had a page set up for the woocommerce shortcode [woocommerce_checkout]. Could I just stick in the code in the next line after that shortcode? Or am I simplifying it too much and it needs to be in the thankyou.php file?

    Thanks!!

Hello – here is an update on the issue:
I have installed a plugin that created a child theme (yay!)
Through the plugin, I accessed my child theme’s functions.php file.
I copied and pasted in the function code that lorro provided above, except for the last line. I replaced the last line (“// output your tracking code) with my google conversion code. I hit update and got an internal error 500. So it didn’t like what I input. Btw – there is no active website called pastbin.com.

I did this in my staging site, not sure if that would have mattered or not?

Thanks Mike. Sorry I never replied on this, I appreciate you taking the time to do a quick look at it, I will talk to the theme developer about the spacing issue. Thanks.

@mike – Hi Mike! Hope you are doing well. Thanks for the suggestion, I am not technical enough or have the experience needed to create a custom plugin, unfortunately 🙁

@lorro – Wow, I had no idea there were plugin’s to create child themes! Thank you for letting me know, I will look into this and get one installed asap.
Once I do, I will have to see how the plugin works in order to let me customize, and then figure out how to add the code for the hook you suggested previously in the child theme functions.php file.
I will provide an update once I get this far.
    thanks!

@lorro – thanks for the feedback and assistance. I actually don’t have the option to create a child theme at this time. I understand that whenever WC gets updated whatever changes I make will be overridden, but for now working in the template is my only option. Could I just create this hook in the main theme function.php file? Or if someone could show me where to put the code snippet in the woocommerce/thankyou.php file?

Appreciate any further input if any.

    Thank you all!

Hi Mike, sorry, yes here you go:

Direct url to the website shop:

Once you add a product to the cart, go to cart icon (in top right corner) so you bypass the rest of the checkout process, etc.

    Use coupon code: thankyou15

You will see after its applied, you will see the line where the discount is taken, the text for the words “coupon” and “thankyou15” overlap over each other. Before I updated the plugin, the “thankyou15” would show up underneath the word “coupon”

Let me know if you need anything else and there is a fix for this?
    thanks!!!!

Can someone advise when the order tracking email feature for this plugin will be compatible with latest WP and WooCommerce versions?

Yes you need an SSL certificate for your site if you use Paypal Pro.
I installed the plug-in and the fields for credit card info showed up on my checkout page with no issues. I have not tested it though to see what happens after the credit card info is entered during checkout, yet.

Regarding the fees, that’s what I was told – monthly fee is waived, and since the customer stays on your site to checkout and pay, no transaction fee, but like I said, I have not turned on the function yet for my customers so I can’t confirm what will happen yet regarding the txn fees. 🙂

Hi – I had the same question so I called PayPal and they confirmed they are able to waive the monthly $30 fee. I went ahead and signed up to use Paypal Pro, you have to fill out an application with Paypal first before downloading the plugin, my application was just approved yesterday. I received a separate email that confirmed my monthly fee is waived, too. So i have it on record in case anyone at Paypal disputes it with me. Since the plugin will allow customers to directly pay with credit card without leaving your website, there is no transaction fee according to Paypal (unlike using regular Paypal plugin which bring the customer to Paypal’s site to complete the purchase, and hence the 2.9% txn fee, etc). I guess I will find out once customers start purchasing products from my site. 🙂

Thanks Bob. Now its working for some reason. Sorry to have bugged you. 🙂

Hi Bob – sorry for not being clear.
I have de-activated the plug in, but my website still shows up in maintenance mode when I try to view my website from within my WP dashboard. It appears to redirect me out of my WP dashboard to the site as opposed to staying in my WP dashboard to view it (does that make sense?). However when I try to view my website directly (by opening a new browser, and typing in the website URL) the maintenance mode is off and I can see my website.
So the issue is that I am not able to view my website from within my WP dashboard in order to make changes etc, because all i see is the maintanance mode screen when i try to view the site.
Do you think I should try deleting the plug in?

    Thanks!!!

I had same issue, not all my variations are displaying. I cleared and purged all cashes and just installed the Woocommerce 2.4.3 plugin. Still not working, any advice?
