    Hi @codepeople

    Thanks for the info, I passed that onto my web host, they actually found in the end that the GET request was being cached, so that resolved my issue, just purchased the full license for your plugin (via my colleague), thanks very much 🙂

    I’m experiencing this same issue. It was happening prior to installing any Cookie Compliance plugins, or Optimisation plugins as the client flagged it before I’d installed them.

    Can you provide the name of the cookie so that I can ask my web host to check they’re not blocking it please?

    Hi bcworkz,

    Thank you for the welcome. And thank you for taking time to reply to my post.

    Yep, point taken r.e. wrestling a plugin into shape 🙂

    I must admit after having scoured the internet for WordPress plugins, I’ve not found one that does exactly what I need, so it will definitely be better to hand code something and your advice is very much appreciated.

    I am currently working with a custom theme that I have started from scratch, so not much existing code to refer to – I will take a look at a standard WordPress theme for pointers of what to add to mine as you suggest.

    It’s a definite learning curve, but I must admit, I am enjoying it!

    I’ll follow up here as I progress.
