Solved.
Issue was .htaccess for drupal was affecting WordPress.
All is well with the world.

Hmm, given I had a drupal & mediawiki issue related to .htaccess AND it was solved by moving media wiki outside /public_html (where drupal is) I will move the wordpress directories outside as well and see what happens.
To be clear:
Current = /public_html/restorativewisdom.com
Propose = /restorativewisdom.com
