You might want to post your wp-config.php file. it might help people figure it out and help you better.
Can’t really help you except to say that Live writer works for me after the upgrade to 2.7. I’m using version 12.0.1370.325, I’m not sure how to upgrade live writer, I think it’s an optional thing in Windows Update.
Did you recently upgrade to 2.5.1 and set up the SECRET_KEY in wp-config? I did the same and was locked out of my blog until I deleted the SECRET_KEY thingus. Hope this helps…
