I’ve been through practically all of these before posting and none of them directly answers the very focussed and easy question I’m asking. I’ll be deleting everything and re-installing WP once I can extract the textual content that took me ages to write, but will definitely put some of the security measures in place once this is in place.
I take it you are unable to help with the actual question I asked?

In reply to: [application] how do I change the slider timings?after reading a post somewhere by the theme designer, i DID solve this by logging on to my host (NOT wordpress) & finding a folder within the root wordpress one. might have been the ‘theme’ folder as mentioned above, but basically it entailed opening the jquery file & adjusting a number in the text. played around with this a few times until I got the right timing for me, think it might have been around 12,000…
sorry I’m SO illiterate when it comes to WP, but hope this might help 🙂
