In reply to: [GK Portfolio] Display image captions in postsWhen I look at the source for your site, I don’t see the shortcode for captions. Have you tried using this shortcode? It looks like you’re only listing alt text for the image right now, which isn’t intended to function as a caption. See if this helps: https://codex.wordpress.org/Caption_Shortcode

In reply to: Different Page Landing Based on Domain? The way I woud try to accomplish this is by redirecting the new domain at the domain registrar; is that not an option for you?

In reply to: [Social] Fb likes counted as comments?I have this problem as well, and I don’t believe this was the behavior of the previous version of the plugin. Simply a “like” is not a valuable enough commentary to post; it looks really spammy on my business’s posts. 🙁
If some users do enjoy the “Like” as comment feature, it would be fantastic to have an option to disable these and to only have full comments appear from FB.
For what it’s worth, it would be similarly awesome to have the ability to disable Twitter retweets, and to only have @-replies from Twitter displayed. That would be a way to hone down to only the truly relevant follow-up, at least for the way my site’s audience works.
Thanks!

In reply to: Export or transfer your postsHiya, I’m having trouble with performing an export (I keep getting an error 500 when I try), and I’m wondering if it’s possible to export posts by any other method. Specifically, is there a “posts.php” file, or something like that, that I can use? The rest of the blog, like the theme and even the comments, I can live without if I have to. 🙁
Thanks!

In reply to: WordPress export gets me error 500I have this problem as well, but I never used to and I believe I’m the only admin so I don’t know how this could have changed. Could anyone provide more detailed instructions for modifying apache? I’m pretty novice and don’t want to screw anything up. Thanks!

In reply to: Help with sidebar editor for a total noviceThank you! So he did that, and he knew what you meant though I didn’t, but I’m still having the same problem. FYI I tried it in Opera too and still no luck. I just think I’m not understanding some critical part of the sidebar-editing interface, but then again in the past when I’ve thought it was my ditziness it’s turned out to be a bug in the program before, so I don’t really know what to trust, I just know it’s not working, haha. Any more ideas?
