In reply to: Nav Menu Problemok, i dont know how i did it, but ive fixed it. i was just tryin different variations with the {position}.
menu li. has to be relative. Im sure it was relative originally, and i changed it to absolute then it was wrong, so i changed it back to relative and bingo, its fixed…not sure what happened.
Maybe someone could shine a lil light? As i said, im just learning wordpress and coding.. i dont need to be able to build a site from scratch, but a little code knowledge would be helpfull.
What i have explained, what does the code mean?

In reply to: changing themesthanks esmi,
Once i change to another theme, if i dont make any changes to the new one, and dont like it straight away, is it just a matter of changing back to my original theme and everything will be as it was?
Excuse the ignorance.

In reply to: HELP!! UrgentlyI think it depends on alot of things, there may be a generic solution in a broad sense, but every host/server/whatever is different in a way. I guess there are ways to do things, but with another host it may not work.
I just played around whilst panicing about my site being down, and hit on the solution. I have since done alot of reading regarding FTP software and such.
Like i said, its all about learning.. so id like to thank everyone who posted so quickly to try and help.
Now i have read up a bit and had some hands on experience, your solutions dont seem so foreign to me..
Cheers!!

In reply to: [Meteor Slides] [Plugin: Meteor Slides] Image/slide resizingHi mate, yeah i know they are bigger normally, but i want them to be long and thin, like on the home page. But i see your point, something is shrinking them regardless of their original size.
Does meteor slides resize respectively, i.e, if i alter the height will the width be altered accordingly to keep it looking normal? or are width/height totally seperate with your plugin?
Thanks for replying so quickly to, you have been a great help

In reply to: [Meteor Slides] [Plugin: Meteor Slides] Image/slide resizingHi mate,
I have been playing around with the slideshow on the page;
http://precisepressurewashing.co.uk/domestic/roof-cleaning-glasgow/
At the moment its looking pretty small. but as i said, i set the sizes before i uploaded it, and it still was totally the wrong size to match the homepage banner pic.
Could you possibly have a look at the homepage and give me a rough idea of size and tell me if i should resize the actual pics before uploading and if so, what size to set the slideshow in settings to match roughly the size of the homepage banner.
Any help would be appreciated mate..
Cheers.
Matt
