Did you select the group to assign members to? If you go to Settings > Emma for WordPress > Account Information and scroll down, there is an “add new members to group” section.
Being 1 month from the original post, I assume you figured it out or found another solution.
I was not able to get the site working with the wordpress files in a subdirectory so I moved everything to the root and used the above we.config file. Everything seems to be working. Closing this topic.
we changed the site urls in mysql and the .css and .js files are still broken. They are pointing to the root, not the subdirectory—where they should point.
