Hi,
Thanks for all of the information.
What version of jQuery is it reporting that you’re currently using? If it is an older version, updating it could be conflicting with the current theme or plugins.
Thanks,
Gerroald
Hi,
This wording is going to be updated to be more clear. It’s acknowledging that you do indeed have SSL.
In the SSL portion of your Settings page you can select “Whole Site”. This will force SSL on the entire site.
Thanks,
Gerroald
Hi,
It’s odd that the 403 comes and goes. If you disable iThemes Security does this still happen?
Can you whitelist your IP and see if that helps?
Thanks,
Gerroald

Hi,
What are you using to pen this? Have you tried opening this with a different zip app?
There’s a .sql file in the backup zip.
Thanks,

Hi,
Did you get this working?
Are you getting redirected to the home page when trying to access the login page? If so, then it sounds like Away Mode is active. Navigate to wp-content > uploads > ithemes-security via FTP and delete the itsec_away.confg file. This will get you back in.
Thanks!
Gerroald
Hey Anja,
Can you trying logging out and back to see if it’s functioning correctly?
If it’s not, can you share the full contents of your .htaccess file?
Thanks,
Gerroald
Hi,
I’d suggest creating a new user, transfer all content to it and delete the old one. If you can’t access your site to do this, then deactivate the plugin via FTP by renaming it’s directory to something like ithemes-security-pro.bak. Once you’re in and made the adjustments you can rename it back to reactivate it.
Thanks,
Gerroald
Hi,
Try switching to a WordPress default like Twenty Fifteen and see if that helps.
Thanks,
Gerroald

Hey Michael,
It definitely sounds like Hide Backend isn’t playing nice with your environment. Try adding the code below to your wp-config.php. Then see if you can deactivate/reactivate the plugin. If you’re able to successfully do that you’ll need to re-configure the settings as this will wipe them. I’d avoid re-enabling Hide Backend.
define( 'ITSEC_DEVELOPMENT', true );Thanks,
