Hi,
It sounds like Away Mode is active. Navigate to uploads > ithemes-security via FTP and delete the itsec_away.conf file. This will get you back in.
Thanks,
Gerroald
Hi All,
The fix for the Fatal Error regarding get_home_path() was released in 5.0.
Can one of the OPs confirm this is no longer an issue for them?
The
define( 'ITSEC_TEST_MALWARE_SCAN_DISABLE_SSLVERIFY', true );is unrelated.Thanks!
Gerroald
Hi,
Can you update to 5.0.1 and add the code below to your wp-config.php and let me know if that helps?

Hi,
Thanks for the information.
I’ve shared it with the developer. I’ll report back here when I know more.

Hi,
Thanks for the update.
Would it be possible for you to email me at gerroald @ ithemes . com so we can take a closer look? If so, can you include the URL to the site with the issue?
Thanks,
Gerroald
Hi,
Thanks for reporting this.
Does your site support https? If so, is your certificate expired, or self-assigned?
Please let me know!
Thanks,
Gerroald
Hi,
Whitelisting this will not work. It doesn’t quite work that way.
Thanks!

Hi,
In the WP-Piwik Preferences can you change the default PHP user agent to WP-Piwik and see if that helps?
If that doesn’t help can you disable the Default Hack Repair list and see if that does the trick?
Thanks,
Gerroald
Hi,
I’d suggest changing all credentials including Admin users, WordPress, (S)FTP and database.
Thanks,

Hi,
Most likely you’re going to need to adjust the XMLRPC feature for Jetpack for this to function correctly. It’s just fine to do this. The idea is to enable all settings that your WordPress/Server environment will allow. Not necessarily all of them.
Please let me know if adjusting this helps!
Thanks,
Gerroald
Hi,
What version are you currently using? Can you make sure you’re using the most up to date version?
Thanks,
Gerroald
Hi,
I haven’t been able to recreate this here. Do you have a database backup to restore from?
Thanks,
Gerroald
Hi,
Thanks for the update and sounds good. Please let me know if you would like to look into this at a later time.
Thanks,
Gerroald
Hi,
Just for clarity, you have the backup notifications set for email?
If you set it to store locally does that work correctly?
Thanks,
Gerroald
Hey Cstuart,
This really comes down to “you know your site the best”. By a general rule of thumb you can ignore back and cache processes as you know they’re going to be constantly running. You can even exclude them on the Settings page.
It’s worth mentioning that we’re currently working on improving this feature.
Thanks,
Gerroald
