Thank you both, I will certainly look into your suggestions. I’ve also come across “User Roll Editor” and “Profile builder” which may also fit the bill.

    Hi
Firststly, many thanks for your assistance. Added the code to wp-content.php file, however this has not generated a debug log.

wp-content.php file below for you to peruse –

    *
    * This file is used by the wp-config.php creation script during the
    * installation. You don’t have to use the web site, you can just copy this file

Thanks for your replies. Just discovered the problem. The text I was looking to edit is actually in one of the Widget Areas.

Hi, my host also initially said there was no problem at their end. However when the problem was not resolved they wrote a piece of code that allowed Zaps to work. See my earlier post.

Many thanks. Can you advise how I add this css. I have no experience in doing this?

That removed the sidebar, but the content of the main pane remained the same width. ie Did not fill the space left by the sidebar.

Hi Thanks for this. I only found one instance of “Events” it had a parent page. I removed the parent page and re saved permalinks. Contents of this page was [calendar]. Still have the same problem. Should I have deleted this page completely ? Wasn’t sure if this was the page I needed to keep.

Thanks for you help Clayton. My hosting co. has added some customized lines in the htaccess file, specifically for the xmlrpc file to be allowed access from anyone. This has cleared the problem.

    (@geedee23)

    Nothing like that in. htaccess

    Hi Thanks for your reply.

The xmlrpc.php exists, I checked with File Manager.
The Hosting company did find on instance of blocking and says it has cleared it. Still not working. I did have a security plugin but have now removed it. Not sure where to proceed from here. Might be easier to find another method to post to Facebook ?
