  • Hello,

If you haven’t already, review our Testing for conflicts to ensure you’re not working with a theme/plugin conflict.

If you’ve created a page with the same slug as what you’ve entered in Events URL slug under Events > Settings > General , you’ll need to delete the page.

You’ll need to refresh your permalinks by visiting Settings > Permalinks and hitting “Save Permalinks” – do this even if you don’t have a page with the same slug entered in Events URL slug.

Let me know if this helps 🙂

Hi Thanks for this. I only found one instance of “Events” it had a parent page. I removed the parent page and re saved permalinks. Contents of this page was [calendar]. Still have the same problem. Should I have deleted this page completely ? Wasn’t sure if this was the page I needed to keep.

    Hey @geedee23,

Probably completely removing the page (be sure to delete it in the trash) will free the slug for the calendar to us. Also we don’t have a [calendar] shortcode, maybe that’s part of another plugin?

    Best,
    Nico

Thanks, I’ll give that a go.

    Hey @geedee23,

As we haven’t hear back from you I assume the suggested worked for you or you could figure it out anyway, I’m marking this as resolved accordingly.

    Best,
    Nico
