In reply to: Can i link wordpress to my domain (www.test.com) ?The two plans you’re referring to will support the use of WordPress.
WordPress Hosting – Go Daddy’s advanced hosting architecture and a pre-installed version of WordPress.
Linux Hosting – Hosting space without any pre-installed applications, such as WordPress. Gives you the option to install WordPress manually or through our application community called Hosting Connection.

In reply to: Connection Information – Godaddy Automatic UpgradeThere are two options. The first, is to use the full domain name as the host that you’re connecting to. The second option is to update the user/group ownership of the plugins directory to Apache. If you decide to use the second option you won’t be able to access the content in the plugins directory via FTP.

Sounds like your site may have been compromised. I’m going to have our security team take a look and get in touch with you. In the meantime, change the FTP password to a strong password, uninstall and reinstall, then re-upload the site.Forum: Installing WordPress
In reply to: Stop DaddyI looked into this and can’t reproduce the issue. I was able to successfully install WordPress to your hosting account, which leads me to believe the error is due to a network issue. You can try a different browser or a different computer. Or, if you’d like, I can do a courtesy install if you tell me what directory you would like it installed to.
