Bingo! @galbaras, changing to a relative URL did the trick. Very odd, as an absolute URL worked for years in this redirect, and still works for non-query destinations. I vaguely recall trying relative destination URLs years ago, and running into problems. Regardless, it’s working. (Didn’t have to resort to your suggestion, @mnizinski, but I’ll keep in mind the next time this fails!) Thanks for the help!

I’ve had reasonably good response to support requests (about 24 hrs). I have, however, put off the WP 3.3 upgrade for a few days to be sure everything is working and get through another release or two of PUD.

Note that every time you upgrade PUD, you have to re-upload the themes. Apparently, the auto-upgrade process deletes the whole plugin folder. I hope that PUD comes up with a workaround for this (storing themes in a different folder, perhaps).

I don’t think there’s any fraud involved, my sole complaint was that the new version was released prematurely, resulting in lots of problems and near-daily code updates.

They are now up to version 3.13. They have been pushing out daily updates. 3.12 worked fairly well for delivering a basic popup, but the 3.13 upgrade causes errors on my site. I’ve deactivated it until the next update, which I anticipate will be soon.

I think they pushed 3.0 out too quickly and we all turned into beta testers. The product itself has been fairly solid (I’ve used the previous version for a month or more), and it definitely boosts your signup rate. I’d suggest upgrading and, if that doesn’t work, hanging in there for a few more days. Or, if you are in some kind of guarantee period, get your money back now and wait for the dust to settle on 3.0.

I’d add that I’ve purged the unsuccessful upload list, and deactivated/activated the plugin. The other CDN URLs work fine, just not those in the custom files list.
