Same snippet issue with me!
I submitted the bug since few days but no one answered yet!
If I remove the title, I’m seeing 2 slash at the end of my .com//
If I put a title, my url become .com/title/
Buggy plugin!
Thanks wpsmort!
Much appreciated!
I have one last question! When I upload one image in my WP, this image is resized in 3 different dimensions.
If I activate the media/Attachments, will it index all the 3 images or just the original?
Thanks
Thanks for your reply wpsmort! Much appreciated!
I was asking this because when I submitted a sitemap generated by another plugin, I was seeing the number of pages and images submitted.
And the sitemap was composed of just the pages! Nothing more in there!
When I submitted the sitemap generated by AIOSeo with only Pages inside(like my old sitemap), Google only shows the quantity of Pages submitted! 0 Images!
I kept that sitemap for 2 days and was still having a pending status in Google!
Related to the fact that no images are submitted? I don’t know!
Can’t wait to see the next update!
If I’m removing my Custom title, my page end with 2 slash at the end!
Like this: http://www.mysite.com//
Seriously, the plugin caused something to my site and would appreciate to know how to fix that!
Thanks
I don’t know if my question was not clear enough but here’s more details!
In Google Webmaster Tools when we submit a Sitemap, we can see the quantity of URLs and Images submitted.
With AIOSeo, I have in my sitemap settings, only Pages selected!
So the results in WMT shows only the quantity of Pages submitted and no Images.
I want my images to be indexed so I select the Media/Attachment in the sitemap settings and resubmit to Google.
I was expecting to see in WMT, Pages and Images submitted but still see no images at all that been submitted.
Instead, I’m seeing the quantity of Pages that increase! ???
Something I’m doing wrong or the plugin don’t have the capability to submit images to Google index via the sitemap function?
Thanks in advance!
I didn’t found yet a solution!
My title issue is really under Google! When I access my page, the title is ok!
But Google search result keep showing my Site name and not the SEO Title from Yoast.
So I compared with another website I manage that is ok with the custom title.
So to make some test, I change my site title to the Custom Title I want!
Kind of stupid thing but can’t find another way to make Google read the title I want. The fact that now the Title is quite long, I don’t want it to appear on my other pages! So I’m forcing a rewrite title for each page by adding a custom title to each.
The second thing I did, under Social/Facebook, I temporary deactivated the OpenGraph option!
With this option OFF, no trace of my site name at all in the source code!
So I’m waiting Google to crawl my site with these new settings!
Maybe you should try to write the sitemap link like this instead of just /sitemap_index.xml:
http://yoursite.com/sitemap_index.xml
In fact exactly like your website link by adding at the end
/sitemap_index.xmlTotally agree with You Hector!
I have an issue as well with the title and description of my homepage!
Plenty of persons reported Titles & Descriptions issues since the release of 1.5.5.3 but not a single word from the Author.
Busy for sure but will be nice a least that the author confirm the issue and when we should expect an update.
Planning to uninstall this software and use AIOS!
