Have you considered using the wp-config.php file to define the constants? I would imagine that would be more user friendly, and there’s already a ton of definitions you can make there.

In reply to: [mTouch Quiz] [Plugin: mTouch Quiz] Database storage or emailI do see your point of not presently having a real secure method of presenting the questions/answers.
For me, specifically, I would like to see some sort of tracking provided to know who took the quiz, and what their results where, with the option of only being notified when someone passed it.
We are using the plugin currently on a site to provide a simple pass/fail quiz for roofing contractors to become “certified” to use recycling facilities. Presently, we have it setup to use the %%RATINGS%% field. If the person taking the quiz passed, they are then provided a link to continue to a form to provide their information. If they fail, then they are asked to take the quiz again.
As far as CSS styling goes, I see how it would be fairly simple to re-style it, but the default styling seems pretty gaudy to me, imho.

In reply to: [WP Survey And Quiz Tool] [Plugin: WP Survey And Quiz Tool] My results so farIt seems I have answered my own question (#2). It appears that the difficulty chosen on each question in the quiz affects the ordering of the questions.
I had the same problem. Just keep retrying. Took me about 10 tries, but it worked eventually.

In reply to: [Plugin: Pie Register] Plugin not showing upAlso, there was a “Thumbs.db” file which I deleted from the package. It was taking up 17kb of space.
This plugin is wonderful. Don’t let old “Geezerds” get you down. He’s just blowing smoke apparently. Is it perfect? No, but what is?

In reply to: [Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Missing description under thumbnailsSo I have to edit a file to enable thumbnail descriptions? That stinks… Almost defeats the purpose of this plugin imho…

In reply to: [Plugin: WordPress Automatic upgrade] how to upgrade TO 2.7I tried using WPAU to upgrade my wordpress installation to 2.7. Everything worked fine until it got to the “cleanup process.” It ran through, deleting all kind of goodies, and wound up breaking my installation. The admin menu disappeared and all kind of other things. I wound up manually re-FTPing 2.7 and cleaning up folders. Luckily, WP has automatic upgrades built-in now.
