Can you both give me details of the system you’re running WordPress on (Apache, IIS, version of PHP and MySQL, that sort of thing)? It’ll help in trying to narrow down what is a recurring issue for users.

That sounds like a good idea, and should be fairly easy to implement, so I’ll look into that on the next development iteration.
