In reply to: Critical ErrorThanks @macmanx. I had read those instructions on the forum but couldn’t figure out how to follow them. I’m old 🙂 and non-technical and ready to let my website go. This was to be my last Christmas season. I contacted my host. They said they’d work on it, so we’ll see.

Thanks for the response. I was afraid it would be a child theme. Something I haven’t yet tackled. Clearly, it’s time.
I’m setting up products for sale on my site with Shopify. After I master that and get it working, I’ll deal with my homepage.

OPYoast was great at controlling link text and images. Is there any other plugin I might try for that?
Solved! except. . . I deactivated Yoast SEO and the Toolbar came back. So now what do I do about Yoast SEO?

To repeat 🙂 nothing I’ve done is different in the viewing of the page. Until a month ago it showed the full menu. I recently added one more item to it, and I worried that had caused it to change permanently to the icon. I appreciate your patience!

My browser window width is 1366. To my knowledge the resolution has not changed. As I said, it used to display fully, and now it doesn’t. I wondered if it had to do with the number of items on the menu.
