I’m not following your logic here. Latest post is already your Home page…usually, you homepage is the page people land on when they connect to your site. So, am I correct in assuming you want your homepage–the page people land on when they connect to your site–called “About Me” and you want your post page called “Home”, but people have to click on it to get to it?

Not if you used Cpanel and Filezilla…my point is, if you have Cpanel, then you don’t need Filezilla and you can eliminate the possibility of ftp transfer problems.
